Dopo l’ultima serata di fine Febbraio, salva di pochissimo, l’immagine dei mesi a venire, con un calendario già pieno di eventi e ospiti internazionali, è diventata prima offuscata e poi definitivamente bruciata. La fine del tunnel ancora non si vede e di sicuro non arriverà chiara e luminosa come in molti si aspettano. Nel nostro piccolo quello che possiamo fare è adattarci attivamente, senza fermarci, cercando di ragionare e condividere lo spazio che abbiamo creato in questi mesi, mettendo al centro quello che più ci sta a cuore: la musica e i legami che crea. Per questo abbiamo provato a compiere uno sforzo collettivo, cercando nuove connessioni per contribuire alla situazione attuale con la stessa energia di sempre.
Iniziato come un contest tra producers e beat makers, Unity è diventato una compilation, che raccoglie diversi stili tra i 160 e 175 bpm.

Ringraziamo sentitamente tutti i producer che hanno supportato la causa e hanno aderito mandando la loro musica per questo contest e Stranjah per aver messo a disposizione il suo ‘Stranjah Free Sample Pack Volume 1’.

Il ricavato della vendite verra devoluto interamente al “Fondo Emergenza Corona Virus - Cagliari” organizzato dall’ASCE ONLUS, in supporto delle persone più colpite dai mesi di lockdown.

After our last party at the end of February, magically safe, the image of the months to come, with a rich calendar of events and both international and national guests, became blurry at first, and finally burned. The end of the tunnel is not here yet, and it won’t be clear and bright as many hope. What we can do in our small reality is to slow down, without stopping completely, trying to think actively and to share the space we built in the last months, putting in the center what we love the most: the music and the relations it creates.
Because of this, we tried to make a collective effort, searching for new relations to contribute to the actual situation.
The project started as a contest for producers and beat makers, and became a compilation that collects several styles in a range between 160 and 175 bpm.

We are deeply thankful to all the producers which supported this project with their music, and to Stranjah for giving us the chance to use his ‘Stranjah Free Sample Pack Volume 1’.

All the proceeds will be donated to the Emergency Fund for Corona Virus - Cagliari, organized by the ASCE ONLUS, in support of all the people most affected by the lockdown.

Our tenth release will give space to the talented producer duo Ntropy who produced two wonderful jungle tracks for the occasion.

Ntropy are a Bristol-based duo formed by Carlo Angelucci and Thomas Brun who met in 2013 in Bristol where the project started by launching a series of events in different historical venues around the city (Queen's Head and Cosies) called "Bass Office".



DYLM is a jungle track with a retro flavor with strong rhythmic pulses and pressing low frequencies.



Shiva is a snareless nu school jungle track with refined atmospheres.



Thanks to the Ntropy duo, the JPR catalog is enriched with two refined jungle tunes. Don't miss them.

After last year’s VA, Samsara’s sister label OBL/QUE strikes back with a new compilation that covers a wide spectrum of Bass Music & different BPM. Footstep Vol.1 brings together well known names & newcomers producers and offers a heterogeneous collection of D&B, Halftime & Breaks.

This time around we highlight Ntropy - Arguments, forthcoming on OBL/QUE.

The FOOTSTEP compilation, curated by OBL/QUE, makes its return. This second instalment consists of two separate releases: the first, consisting of 5 tracks, focuses on Drum'n'bass, Jungle and Footwork; while the second, available a week later and consisting of 4 tracks, explores sounds ranging between Dubstep, Breaks and Techno. All the producers involved come from Sardinia, demonstrating once again the solidity and steady growth of the Sardinian bass music scene, which continues to involve new realities and already well-known artists.

Inoria does not belong to the range of bpm that I usually practice, but every occasion is a new learning and creative time. So I have put the melancholic taste that i like give to my landscape sounds and the soft raw coating I use to insert in my tracks, into a new rhythmic shape as the D'n'B/Footwork genres are.

The track was born to give my own contribution to the OBL/QUE crew's contest named "Unity".

Ntropy are a Bristol-based duo formed by Carlo Angelucci and Thomas Brun who met in 2013 in Bristol where the project started.
Ntropy's main purpose is to explore the darker side of drum and bass and, to let the audience familiarise themselves with their sound, the duo launched a series of events in different venues around Bristol (Queen's Head and Cosies) called "Bass Office".
Their debut EP, "Trazodrone", was released on Modulate Recordings in 2015.
In 2017 the duo played at several events around Europe spanning from Bristol's very own Noise Test nights at Blue Mountain to the stunning landscapes of La Cinta Beach at the Sun and Bass festival in Sardinia, Italy.
After many months in the studio, in 2018 the duo released on Singularity Audio an EP first, "Unbroken", and just a few months later their debut LP, "Goram", which included "Get Dem Wise", a track written with the talented italian producer Bayou.
In 2019 Danger Chamber Digital released two different Ntropy's EPs: “Mydriasis” and "Antabuse", the latter a collaboration EP with Berlin based amen butcher a.k.a. No_name. 
2020 will see Ntropy launching their very own label, Disorder Media, with their first self-released single "Zenith/Nine Times", out now on Bandcamp.
