Sharing a mutual respect and support for each other’s music from the very start, the duo collaborates for the first time; in a demonic tech step title track, setting off the EP in fine style.

One solo track apiece follows the collab, as the EP develops into a soundclash of technical prowess, with each artist unleashing their own original strains.

The pair then unite forces, to remix previous label production from each other; as DLR revisits the 2012 killer ‘Crumbled’ in his ‘3rd Time Around Remix’, before Hybris reworks ‘Seeing Sounds’ album track ‘Ask The Question’ alongside MC Fokus.

A fusion of tremendous skill and two unique, well established sounds, we proudly welcome a joint release from two of our favourite producers of the decade so far.

With just over a year back in the production seat after a 13 year break from Drum n Bass, Jaise has been casually chipping away at carving his niche in the current landscape, taking all of the elements he loves from the sound of classic techstep and early neurofunk and creating his own unique take on the style, bringing the sound into the 21st century. 

With releases on Subplate Recordings, P Lab Recordings and Protocode this year and with support from Skank & Bass, DistrictBass and DNBDojo, Jaise is quietly working away with other releases scheduled for 2020. 

With recent appearances on Bassdrive and DnBRadio and securing guest mixes for DNBDojo and P Lab Recordings, Jaise’s mixing style is quickly gaining him recognition in the deep/tech scene for his smooth blending technique and considered selection.

The Austrian Festival Culture was born about 40 years ago in Wiesen, an event venue situated in the state of Burgenland. In 2016, right on time for its 40th anniversary, this most beautiful outdoor venue moves once again into the focus of the music industry.
Because 2016 will also be the birth year of an entirely new (festival) format: NU FORMS FESTVAL.
And the team behind this new born baby is no stranger. Mastermind Christian Lakatos and his former Urban Art Forms Crew are responsible for what is already referred to as a family get-together of the international Drum N‘ Bass Scene and Bass Music Culture.

NU FORMS is not simply about the consumption of music. It is conceived as an event to sharpen the senses for all layers of this musical subculture.
Festival visitors will be able to take part in competitions and workshops and thus become actors and participants. From the Scene for the Scene!
Also in terms of Visual Art a new experience is to be expected. Responsible for the realization of this new visual art experience is the crew of 4youreye, which has been been part of the family for over a decade and which is considered an international authority in the field.

Contrary to other endeavors (developments), NU FORMS FESTIVAL will consciously remain an intimate gathering. So tickets will be limited. The feel-good factor of our visitors and artists is our main priority.

“We wanna have the good ones! Those who also live it!” NUF said.
