Paralaps of his real name Cyprien Malléa, 29 years old from Bordeaux, began to be passionate about electronic music, especially drum and bass from the age of 15.

However, it is only in 2017 that he will leave the guitar behind him to finally take his place behind the turntables. 

He will move towards drum and bass mixing a large part of his genres, while having a predominant taste for neurofunk, crossbreed and darkstep. 
Influenced by artists such as Katharsys, Levela or Gancher & Ruin, he develops a style centered on punchy snares and dark basses. A style that can be found in his musical productions.

Since 2018, date of its entry in the Bass Reload association, Paralaps has had the opportunity to perform at multiple taken up in emblematic places of the Bordeaux scene.

In 2023, he co-founded the Dojo music association in Bordeaux, of which he is now president.
