NUER è una one-man band techno-punk nata una sera piovosa di qualche estate fa. Dopo i primi esperimenti noise, la nuova rotta di NUER è quella di impastare a mani nude le atmosfere della musica elettronica con la timbrica incisiva del basso distorto.

NUER is a techno-punk one-man ban born a rainy evening some summer ago. After the first noise_electronic music experiments, NUER's new route is to knead the atmospheres of electronic music with the aggressive and incisive timbre of the distorted bass.

BOLOGNA VIOLENTA is a project started in 2005 by Nicola Manzan, releasing five hard hitting full-length albums, manifold EPs, split albums and not to mention various remixes.
The music features extreme elements where electronic drum patterns tackle grindcore guitars and classical orchestration giving it the symphonic edge that few dare to achieve.
The music is based on life's tragedies, on the chaotic existence and influence that humans have of themselves while causing destruction within the world around them.
After the first self-titled CD-R, released in 2005 (mainly influenced by 70’s and 80’s police-movies and successively re-issued on vinyl), BOLOGNA VIOLENTA released Il Nuovissimo Mondo in 2010, an album based on “mondo-movies” allowing Nicola to start performing in front of audiences in Italy while expanding into Europe as a one-man-band.
In 2012 BV released Utopie e piccole soddisfazioni, an introspective and non-political album at the same time while taking a different approach from Il Nuovissimo mondo.
This paved the way for its fourth album Uno Bianca, released in 2014, a controversial album inspired by a criminal italian without the usual sarcastic humour who possessed a ruthless and violent criminal record with no room for compromise.
In 2015 Nicola incorporated the help of Alessandro Vagnoni as a live drummer and a studio multi-instrumentalist.
BOLOGNA VIOLENTA has been the subject of study (digital Art) at the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice, the same Academy Nicola presented The Sound of..., forty discographies in which every platter is played simultaneously.


BOLOGNA VIOLENTA è un progetto nato nel 2005 da un’idea di Nicola Manzan, musicista trevigiano che da allora ha pubblicato sotto questo pseudonimo cinque album, vari ep, split e remix.
I suoi lavori sono caratterizzati da sonorità estreme, in cui le batterie elettroniche vengono arrangiate con chitarre grindcore e orchestre classiche.
Le tematiche affrontate sono per lo più riferite ai drammi della vita, al forte contrasto tra l’essere umano e il mondo che lo circonda, ma soprattutto al difficile rapporto tra gli esseri umani stessi.
Dopo un primo omonimo album uscito in CDr nel 2005 (in larga parte influenzato dall’immaginario dei film poliziotteschi, successivamente ristampato in vinile), nel 2010 esce Il Nuovissimo Mondo, disco fortemente ispirato ai cosiddetti mondo-movies che ha portato Nicola ad esibirsi come one-man-band sui palchi di tutta Italia e, negli anni successivi, anche in Europa.
Nel 2012 esce il terzo album, Utopie e piccole soddisfazioni, un disco più apolitico ed introspettivo del precedente, mentre è del 2014 il controverso Uno Bianca, in cui vengono raccontati dei fatti di cronaca senza usare il classico sarcasmo che da sempre ha contraddistinto il linguaggio di BV,
un disco spietato e violento che non lascia spazio alla fantasia.
Nel 2015 il progetto è diventato un duo con l’ingresso in formazione di Alessandro Vagnoni
come batterista dal vivo e polistrumentista in studio.
BV è stato materia d’esame nel corso di “Arte digitale” all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia e
presso la stessa sede è stato anche presentato il progetto The Sound of..., in cui i pezzi di quaranta discografie diverse vengono fatti suonare simultaneamente.
