The vocals used spoke to me of a time when we face that fear, rational or not that feels oppressive like an all consuming darkness... The mood of the track is downtempo electronic and creates an energy to overcome that darkness...

Second Entry for Beat Battle 57 - hosted by friend Rivermint. Went for a more traditional synth-based song this time, with vocals from my library! Used two of River's audio stems (the pads) and messed them up quite a bit. Thankfully no one got hurt. Synths used are all free apart from Knifonium - which is the second bass instrument backing-up the free OBx one.

Our second entry to Beat Battle BB91 - The BoC Project by strig0583, this time in a Liquid DnB style. The track was inspired by one of my favorite movies: Interstellar. 
Starts with a flashback of happy memories from a little girl's childhood, and springs back into a future in which a barren Earth is no longer able to support life, and humans live in underground caves. The little girl has grown up, and dreams of reaching to the stars in the search for a new home for mankind.
