autumn is here.

like the water and air around the earth, our level of energy and mood change with the seasons. after 5 years of non stop travelling I decided to spend the whole month of october in İstanbul, not going anywhere, to pace down a little, a pitstop to take care of unfinished work, reconnect with family and friends, focus on my self, ground and get the energy from the earth to rise upon the roots, flourish and inspire. 

as much as I love traveling, discovering new landscapes and cities, meeting new people, I love the cosy atmosphere of home, homecooked meals, a little bit of laziness and the comfort of friends and family that I know for a long time. 

this mix is for the ones who wish to spend some time at home this fall. i recorded it at home this weekend, while i was chilling with friends, with some tea, some candles and incents with a lovely istanbul view. 

it's not perfect, lots of weird moments when you listen to it:) i just wanted to share that sense of "home" where you can be cosy and don't care how you present yourself.

Bodaishin — DHM Podcast #774 (Live@Community Moscow / September 2019)

Borella is a Toronto-based electronic music artist known for her melodically dynamic sound that mostly falls on the deeper side.

Be it downtempo or darker and more progressive sounds, she makes sure to guide her listeners through different soundscapes; taking them to a space where words don't speak and music is the only language of thought.

She took her very first music lessons at the age of five with her father who is a professional percussionist. Later on at the age of twelve she took her first guitar lessons in classical and Spanish disciplines.

A former ballet dancer, Borella draws a significant amount of her inspiration from her dance training, and often introduces genres such as jazz and classical music into her mixes.

Her love for electronic music developed in her teens. After digging in the underground scene for a few years, Borella found herself drawn to the deeper journey-like sounds that spoke a slightly more complex language than others.

Her sets are known to take the listeners through delicate and powerful journeys that are vibrant and dynamic. “This mix is a deep wander into a sea of emotions.”

Pippi Ciez is an experienced producer, live performer, audio Engineer & Co-Owner of Inward Records with Sparrow & Barbossa.

His mysterious frequencies, percussive drums and other worldly sounds seem to take the listener on a spiritual journey. Working with instrument players worldwide bringing together orchestrated pieces, from flute, tabla, sitar & violin.

Just returning from living in India where he was performing live & teaching audio engineering & music production at India’s number 1 Academy. He is now back in studio composing his future sound, which he calls  “World Music”. Pippi has been keeping himself busy in the lab, being the new face at All day I Dream to end 2020 and signed to Behrouz’s label Do not sit on the Furniture last year.
