Part of the new guard of the Parisian underground and an integral part of the Rakya crew Idris Bena is in the process of making all the right noises. And some brand-new ones too. With a definite ear for the sounds of era’s gone by Idris has a firm grasp of the high energy future retro sound that has paved the way for many French artists to break out of their respective domestic scenes and onto the world tour.

Releases on labels such as Opia Records, Rakya and of course his own Forest Ill Records (co-founded with Nemo Vachez) have sent his stock soaring. His tracks are well known for packing in a lot of creative ideas but never at the expense of a good groove.
