With a definite ear for the sounds of era’s gone by Idris has a firm grasp of the high energy future retro sound that has paved the way for many French artists to break out of their respective domestic scenes and onto the world tour.

Releases on labels such as Opia Records, Rakya and of course his own Forest Ill Records (co-founded with Nemo Vachez) have sent his stock soaring. His tracks are well known for packing in a lot of creative ideas but never at the expense of a good groove. Is he disco ? Is he ghetto ? Is he funky ? As we received this sick mix, full of cliffhangers and house energy, the mystery only deepens. But really, we're not here to solves mysteries. Number 12 in our Mustard Mix Series is here thanks to London based brothers, and good friends of MHR, Will and Max, aka ‘Duowe’.

These boys are the force behind the ever growing label and party, @fraiserecords which they kicked off in 2019, and have since put out a number of records on the label, with the likes of Urulu, Baby Rollen and most notably the link up with their good mate, Picasso.

As well as a label, they also run their own nights and radio show, ‘Eclectic Blends’ on Voices Radio, which provides a slower soundtrack every 2nd Friday of the month!  

More recently the lads have landed themselves on none other than the man himself, Gene on Earth’s imprint, ‘Limousine Dream’ with a tried and tested EP with Picasso. 

With a handful of new music set to be released for the rest of this year, we can’t wait to hear what else is in store for these fellas. Anyway enough waff - we’ll let the music do the talking!
