Number 9 on our Nugcast series comes from one of the best djs in the portuguese electronic scene, so today we would like to welcome @cruzmmusic on board.

Cruz is responsible for the Bloop Recordings label, one of the biggest labels in the country.
From several events and clubs in Portugal, such as Lisboa Electrónica, Neopop or 5A Club, he is also a regular face visiting some of the most important stops in the national clubbing scene and international, already passing through Canada, Brazil, and European capitals like Berlin, London or Amsterdam.
Lover and collector of vinyl, he started to build his career for more then 10 years ago, always keeping a low-profile.

A DJ of 17 years, Justin's style is heavily influenced by his early years growing up in the Florida Breaks scene in the late 90's and early 2000's, living in Europe for a couple years (notably his visits to Lisbon, Portugal), and more recently living on the US West Coast in Seattle and now San Francisco. He recently launched the Oopsie Dayzee monthly day party at Mars Bar, San Francisco. For 7yrs when he lived in Seattle, Justin was a Viva Recordings Resident DJ for the monthly THIS! party at Monkey Loft, Seattle. 

Justin is deeply passionate about honoring the history and tradecraft of deejaying, witnessed by his obsessive vinyl digging addiction and all vinyl sets. His approach as a DJ is to weave through many genres, a kind of journey through historical and contemporary sounds and styles of electronic music. As such, his style is hard to class as this or that, and that's just way he likes it. The fundamental role of electronic music based in its roots, is the ability for it to tear down the little boxes that constrain our growth as a human race and instead open up new doors of perception necessary to advance. At the end of the day, What you can expect from Justin is his superb selections skillfully presented in a way to make you move and groove, and on occasion to think a little differently about the concept of music.

Long Long Time Ago I was (and actually I still am) A big fan of Hardhouse / Hardstyle. 

My brothers were Gabbers and I saw them running around with shaved heads as a 11 year old boy.. I loved it.. They started playing with turntables, and so my fascination with House Music began. Learning to mix with Hardcore LP's 

When I turned 16 Hardcore was dead (it went sort of commercial) and Trance was a thing.. In the beginning I did not really like trance and when Hardstyle made an introduction, I heard / created my own sound Hardstyle with a +7 pitch. Made a lot of Dj mixed and sold them as A CD.. ;-) 

I found some mixes thanks to and old friend.. So here we go! Here is the first one of many :-0 | All mixed with vinyl
