Considered to be one of the most diligent and passionate DJ’s from peers and punters alike, Matt has transformed over the last 10 years into one of the most respected, accomplished and go-to DJ’s for house music on the Australian circuit. Nukewood has risen from promising young gun to an Australia’s top tier of electronic talent.

You don’t have to just take our word for it, the accolades speak for themselves with Nukewood earning himself a phenomenal #4 National and #2 NSW ranking in 2013, and was a regular staple of the Sydney festival circuit performing at Stereosonic warming up on the Carl Cox stage, Field Day as well as Good Vibrations, Parklife, Future Music Festival, Summafieldayze, Global Gathering, Space, Creamfields and more.

Staying true to his labour of love Matt can call city venues such as Ivy Pool home having held the longest residency which still continues at Marco Polo during the summer months. He can also be found at his other Sydney residency Taylor's Rooftop. When outside of Sydney you can catch Matt headlining venues from Prohibition in Brisbane, Coast Port Beach in Perth as well as regularly touring through Bali, Thailand and even dropping by Es Paradis in Ibiza.

With his feet firmly planted in realms of house music, Nukewood fly’s the house flag high effortlessly moving between driving basslines, relentless grooves, tech house, disco and a good splash of the deeper vibes all rolled into one seamless show. His knowledge and scope as a true house music enthusiast makes him genuinely one of the nation’s premium selectors within this sound.

Matt to date has kept company with some of the world’s finest, warming up for the likes of  Carl Cox, Amine Edge & Dance, Claptone, Duke Dumont, Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Patrick Topping, Basement Jaxx, Dennis Ferrer, Franky Rizardo, Crookers, DJ Spen, Joey Negro, Purple Disco Machine, Derrick Carter and plenty more.

Nukewood has also kept himself busy in the studio the past few years collaborating with Fear Of Dawn for an Aria Top 10 Club Record "Smash Palace" and more recently partnering with Venuto and others with releases coming in the not so distant future.

Nukewood is also involved with running some of Australia’s leading events, bringing Defected Records as well as other big brands in the coming year ahead.
