This time the whole Steyoyoke Family - Soul Button, Sasch, Florian Rietze, MPathy and Dahu - will send you on a sensational music journey, accompanied by some of the most established DJ’s and music producers in the electronic music scene. 

Special Guest on the night will be Scotland’s most popular electronic dance music producer duo, Silicone Soul.
Since their first appearance on the Label ‘Soma Recordings’ in 1998, the duo gathered great respect within the electronic music scene. Apart from that the duo has produced remixes for ‘Schartrax’, ‘Roger Sanchez’ and ‘Röyksopp’ and have founded their own record Label ‘Darkroom Dubs’, where artist like ‘Swimming Pool’, ‘Silver City’ or ‘Wulf’n Flow’ have released their tracks. We are sure that the depth and quality of Silicone Soul’s sound will captivate all your senses and leave you with an indescribable music experience. 

Another special guest on the Steyoyoke House Odyssey will be Larsson. He definitely is one of these DJ’s that knows how to combine different music styles that automatically transform the dance floor into a atmosphere of magic. 

Last but not least Marc Poppcke joins us on our music journey.
Marc gained some of his first experiences in the electronic scene as a Resident DJ of one of Hannover’s most popular electronic music Clubs, ‘H.de.M’. As a solo artist and label owner (Crossfrontier Audio) he has gained great support from some of the biggest heavy weights in the electronic music scene.

Why did you decide to make an episode for our "No War Zone" Podcast?

Aus Liebe zur Musik habe ich mich entschieden eine Episode für diesen Podcast zu machen, um noch mehr Leuten meinen Musikstil näher zu bringen. Ich hoffe das viele Leute diese Episode anhören und Feedback hinterlassen werden. Und natürlich habe ich diese für Frieden und Liebe gemacht.

I´ve made an episode for „No War Zone“ Podcast, beause I do this for the love of music and I want to inspire more people around the world with my style of music. I hope that many people are listening to this episode and left some feedback. And of course I´ll do this for peace and love. 


Do you think music could make an end to wars?

Ich denke mit Musik erreicht und berührt man viele Leute. Ob dies dazu führt, dass in Zukunft Kriege beendet werden können, kann ich leider nicht sagen. Musik sollte in meinen Augen Gefühle ausdrücken und ein Zeichen von Frieden wiederspiegeln. 

I think that music reach and inspire a lot people in this world. Whether this means I can´t say, that in the future wars can be stopped. In my eyes I think that music can be express feelings and so maybe it will reflect a sign of peace.



Since a couple of months war is beeing promoted via the Mainstream Media.  What's your opinion about involvement in wars?

Niemand sollte sich an Krieg beteiligen. In den Mainstream-Medien gibt es in der heutigen Zeit leider mehr Beiträge über Kriege, Terroranschläge oder Katastrophen, anstatt die positiven friedlichen Nachrichten.

No one should be involved into wars. Nowadays in the Mainstream Media are more posts about wars, disasters or other bad things than about the postive and peaceful messages. 


Why can't people live in peace?

I don´t know, why people can´t live in peace. This is today a big problem. The people in this world should prefer to live peacefully.

Für die #37 in unserer Podcastreihe haben wir uns Loubeuya ins Boot geholt. Er ist Resident bei den Naumburger Kollegen der Sparte 13 und außerdem noch Crewmember bei der Kommode Weimar. We just think of his track „La Belle“ on Fede Lng`s Axe on Wax or his rework for Hugh Masekela`s „Don`t Go Lose It Baby“ <3 So we hardly recommend you this wonderful piece of music packed with loads of house and disco tunes.

Die #41 unserer Podcastreihe kommt von Schegg aus München. Der Junge Mann, unter anderem bekannt durch seine releases auf NBAST oder Boutade Musique, besticht vor allem durch seinen facettenreichen Sound. Von ganz deep bis hin zu ganz viel disco ist bei ihm alles vertreten. Regelmäßig zieht er damit seine Zuhörerschaft beispielsweise im Goldenen Reiter oder Bahnwärther Thiel in den Bann.

null4277 ist ein über die Jahre gewachsener Freundeskreis, den neben vielen anderen Dingen der Hang zum elektronischen 4/4-Takt verbindet. Der Ursprung der Crew ist im gleich bezifferten Leipziger Stadtteil Connewitz zu suchen, Lebensmittelpunkt von Lost in Deep – Martin Borth und René Sielaff – sowie Andreas Hübner, in dem diese vor etlichen Jahren beginnen, ihre gemeinsamen Schnittmengen in Sachen Feiern und Musik auszuloten. Als die drei Connewitzer im Jahr 2008 beschließen, aktiv ins Geschehen einzugreifen, liegt der Name der Crew auf der Hand …

Zur ursprünglichen Besetzung ist 2010 Sené Ceanes hinzugestoßen, der bereits einige Jahre als DJ, heute aber vor allem als Produzent und Liveact aktiv ist. Erweitert wurde das Kollektiv in den vergangenen Jahren außerdem durch den erfahrenen Constantin Koch aka Freak de Philipè sowie den jüngsten im Bunde, Mütos.

Nach dem sich Anfang 2016 und schweren Herzens die Wege der drei Gründungsmitglieder trennten, weil Andreas Hübner zukünftig seine uneingeschränkte Aufmerksamkeit seiner Familie widmen möchte, konnte die Crew in der zweiten Jahreshälfte bereits zwei Neuzugänge verzeichnen. Die Vinyl-Liebhaber First Aid: Disco! aus der Sparte 13 Naumburg sowie Mount Y, dessen Ursprung in der Querfurter Homebase zu finden ist.

Damit streckt die null4277-Crew die Soundfühler aus, entwickelt sich weiter und findet doch gleichzeitig immer wieder zu sich selbst zurück. Der Housemusik bleiben sie treu – ob deep, Disco oder auch mal technoid, doch aber immer mit einer Standleitung zum Herzen der Künstler und eng verbunden mit der Housecity Leipzig.
