A much awaited release from Cosmic Playground. After joining Hekwapi Records in 2020 Jonas Tristan aka Cosmic Playground who hails from Germany has now finally crafted his debut EP The Untold Tales, which is a digital anthology that brings together a collection of sounds simulating an auditory experience which has been untold yet.

Looking at his computer screen from where a Portal is seen , His mimic is excited, hypnotized & slightly psychotic.

Inside the portal in which he’s gazing at, the extraterrestrial landscape of a huge tale with abstract shapes and hybrid machine creatures which is trying to communicate with him, to tell a story of their own. Funky and expressive you can expect a playful composition in each tunes, perfectly crafted for any time on the Playground!!

Each of these tracks has its own story to tell: two solo and another in collaboration with Eritas of Sangoma Records within 148 - 150 bpm. The EP aims to tell its Story and simulate an auditory experience which has been untold yet. We hope you'll enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed creating this EP!

The second track called “Cuckoo’s Nest” is inspired by another iconic movie “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” which goes deep into psychological realms. This track is about those who haven’t been able to face their issues and got lost in psychological isolation. This track also features odd key changes but reaches a stable stage at some point unlike “Lost Paths”. This part symbolizes anger which sometimes is the only way we know to cleanse ourselves from the burden we have. In the final part, it reaches the climax of an angry cleansing and fades out with a confusing mellow soundscape, which mirrors the confusion we feel after an emotionally draining activity.

Sangoma Records brings you a new compilation assembled by none other than Emiel himself who has been tweaking and fine-tuning this story to perfection and obsessing over the smallest details, which brings us to the theme of this release. "Mantis Mundi" is inspired by the phenomenal painting by the visionary and artistic genius Robert Steven Connett, and revolves around musicality in insects. The tiny, adorable, fascinating, and often alien-like creatures use sound to great advantage in trying to earn a living in a resource-limited, and frequently hostile, environment – making sounds like instrumentalists through specialized body parts and using many methods and techniques. In case you've been living under a rock, this is the newest epoch, in which scientists say we have significantly altered the Earth through human activity. These changes include global warming, habitat loss, changes in the chemical composition of the atmosphere, oceans and soil, and animal extinctions.

And it's not just happening on Earth: we've also changed our own species through genetic modification and technology. We are living in a time when nothing seems certain anymore-but that doesn't mean we can't do something about it.

That's why to raise awareness our beloved KENON debuts with a compilation of nine masterfully written pieces!

Nulla Taar is the project of George Tsafaridis, from Thessaloniki, Greece.

From the early age of 3, he was already hooked on music listening to bands that his mother used to listen to such as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy Osbourne. At the age of 8, he came in contact with a guitar in the home of a relative and fell in love with it instantly. He was then gifted the guitar, and for years he was playing all day long which resulted in him dropping out of school.

The first Psychedelic party George ever went to was in his hometown at the age of 15, and that's when the other love of his life emerged. At the age of 16, he started producing music and a few months later when he had his first live set as Ekahal he started playing at various parties in Greece and got booked around Europe.

In 2018 he started the duo project Purple Shapes with a close friend Dj Wingman and produced many collaborations with top artists within the scene.

Nulla Taar project has been in the making since 2019. The reason he started this project was to do something new and experimental, with deep meaning and something people with a wider range of musical tastes can relate to. His inspirations came from bands with the likes of Tool, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Doors, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, and many more that shaped his idea about what music used to be.

In 2023 he released a 34-minute-long EP on Sangoma Records called "Polymorphia", with modern psychological issues as the theme.

His music would be described as twilight forest with a bit of full-on, a touch of progressive influence. Some of his signature motives are Polyrhythmic grooves, meditative soundscapes, heavy leads, and bizarre scales and chords. His music ranges from 148bpm to 159bpm.
