Many Directions is the first recording by Peter Hunt and Si Mullumby. 

Featuring Si's mali style  nGoni swingin groove with the potent, yet subtle trumpet and voice of Peter Hunt. More than the music, this track enters a space which is simultaneously calm yet buoyant and soul stirring. 

The underbelly of didgeridoo links the soaring and uplifting melodies to the ground and to country. Recorded on Bundjalung land. Si uses exclusively Sound of Hemp instruments. 

The idea to record the theme song for the 2017 Renew Festival came from Ella Rose Goninan and was supported by the SAE Byron bay. 

Renew Festival showcases renewable energy sources, the latest in farming techniques and cutting edge modern thinking. Renew Festival is based in Mullumbimby, NSW in Australia. Also home to Pete and Si!

On November 3rd Desert Trax presents Ayahuasca Remixed from Brazilian-born artist Poranguí Carvalho McGrew, translated and remixed through the lenses of visionary producers like Shamans Dream,AtYyA, Drumspyder, Kaminanda,Liquid Bloom, Numatik, Yaima, and many others. These 11 tracks were born from a prayer to bridge worlds from the consciousness of the master plant medicine onto the dance floor. It came to life through the meeting and friendship with musician and producer Sahuna Love (Shaman's Dream), and blossomed with the help of Amani Friend (Desert Dwellers & Desert Trax). Each song weaves the medicine of the original, while beckoning listeners to explore and express their prayers or meditations through embodied movement. We start the Journey with „Tiden Inne“ a swedish song that reminds us to be present in the „here and now“ and to realize our gift and responsability as human beeings alive at this potent times. 
It reminds us that nothing should be taken for granted and that WE have the power to create Heaven on Earth.

 Followed by „Vi Kom“ which was inspired by the passing of Kamillas grandfather. This swedish song tells the tale that we all came here from the stars and one day shall return. It's a tribute to all our loved ones who have passed on to the other side. 

„Kura Kura“ is a powerful healing song straight from the heart in which Kamilla invites us to connect with our essence and reminds us that we are all beings of light,love and peace.

 „Integration“ supports us to ground and integrate our experiences and transformations after such an emotional and deep heart opening and healing journey. 

To add even more colour and beauty to the release Mose, Yule and Alunawachuma reworked those gems and created their unique and soulful re-interpretations.

Baptiste Sejourne & Kama Lila Sol - Vi Kom (Alunawachuma Remix)

This is my remix of Nick Barbachano's beautiful song, "Child Of Earth," 
that he wrote for his little girl Laila.  "It is an expression of love for her and all the beautiful little children in the world."  The original version Features beautiful backing vocals from Danit Treubig and double bass from Misha Mullov-Abbado. 

Last year I had the original version on repeat during my meditations, and listening to Nick and Danit's voice is incredibly healing, and the original version is truly a powerful work of art.   I am humbled they trusted me to remix "Child Of Earth."   

In a time when there is so much fear around and division in the world, I believe tuning in with music that brings peace and grounding is critically important.  The more we can unplug from the fear and listen to our inner voice, the more we will be able to navigate these times empowered and with the understanding that we have an opportunity to create a world that is grounded in love.
