A Redefinition of Life

NUMAN started as a bedroom solo project of Numan Naveed, former guitarist of The Rocket Whale and promoter of Thailand’s Math Rock Appreciation initiative. Although several solo albums were released under NUMAN over a decade, Home is a Person is the first record that is completely recorded and performed as a three-piece band. Borrowing influences from mid-west emo and UK math rock, the sound captures a gleeful or at times, sombre tone of instrumental music. Both guitarist (Numan) and drummer (Off), past teammates from The Rocket Whale and the bassist (Job) from Hope the Flowers, the trio  has cultivated a post/math-rock unique sound combination that share similar affinities for complex instrumental no-fringes rock.
