Diynamic label artist David August puts a spin on Kollektiv Turmstrasse's "Last Day," a lovely piece of tech-house released back in 2009. His revision sees a deeper, warm, and meditative track with delicious chords and consuming basslines—-all resulting in an intoxicating audio-watering hole that you'll never want to leave. We got @Cuthead on Rat Life Number 12. You probably know this guy. He is respected worldwide for his one of a kind House and Hip-Hop productions. Lately he said, he got a bit bored with all the soulful jazzy sampling, the groovy shuffles and the catchy hooklines. So, he decided to do something a little different for Rat Life Records. Well, thank you Sir! Happy to present these five variations of banging sounds!

London-based DJ and producer Dan Shake delivers his first solo release on Lumberjack's In Hell with his 'Shake's On A Plane' EP, featuring the uplifting disco of 'Magic Marcel'.

Since his debut on Moodymann's Mahogani Music in 2014, Dan Shake's been a steady supplier of soulful and seductive dance music. He recently launched his own Shake imprint last year and has released exclusively on that label ever since. This latest offering sees him step out as part of the Lumberjack family with more of his distinct sound profile. 

The 'Shake's On A Plane' EP will be released in October.

Premiere: Dan Shake 'Magic Marcel'

Vin Sol is about to unleash a new EP on Honey Soundsytem, titled Moonchild. According to the label, they have rejected "killer track after killer track" from the San Francisco native. "There is no artist in the history of our label that we have given a harder time to than Vin Sol," they add. "We finally made our peace, and selected the four tracks that encompass the Moonchild EP you have here..."
Vin Sol is a long time friend of the label with previous releases on Rhythm Nation, Nonplus, and Ultramajic. The EP is said to read "like a metaphor for the two sides of the city where it was made." The two openers, "Moonchild" and "Electrical Storms," "reminisce the mystical and spiritual love affair San Francisco has had since the '60s while "Patronize" and Bondage Taped" reference "the sexually adventurous side the city indoctrinates to all its visitors."

Fred Berthet aka DJ Steef signs the 16th release of the label by delivering an EP made of 3 tracks.

Ludodisco is an original disco track that has a groovy start with vocals and arrangements around dub effects. It follows with a mix of violins ascending into an intoxicating melody.  Adversity a down tempo track which reveals a jungle atmosphere with a chorus and subtle percussions. This track evolves as you listen revealing its unique ambiance that we love ! Two Reasons, classic deep house track. The perfect sound to start the evening.
