Ice Cream Social is dance party event and booking agency of Ice Cream Support Group- a mutual aid artist collective born in Richmond VA. Featuring our rotating resident Dj's, special guest live acts, and visiting artists and a focus on fundraising for QTPOC organizations and individuals.

We center around making space for black folks and other people of color that fall anywhere within the queer and trans spectrum- with the purpose of making culture with music, memories, and joy. With Ice Cream Social parties, we hope to elevate our social climate with artistic expression and cathartic movement. Based in Richmond, VA- it started off as a QTPOC house party event that slowly evolved into a monthly dance party curated by ARCHANGEL- later joined by Judy Hong of Quiet Year Records, and Noir on the admin team.

Every Sunday, one of our resident DJ's curates an installment for our weekly mix series ICE CREAM SUNDAY featuring guest mixes, interviews, and whatever else they decide to come up with.

Foxymoron is a three-piece East Coast indie band that has quickly emerged as a powerful force in the Greater Philadelphia music scene. The band takes influence from diverse artists across the board, creating a unique sound that is both intimate in its folk rock roots and roaring in alternative breakdowns. Foxymoron's attention to detail, both musically and lyrically, is a testament to their passion for songwriting and for creating sonic landscapes. They have performed with bands such as Adult Mom and Slaughter Beach Dog, and have played in venues throughout the country from California to New York.

Members Katie Barnwell (vox, guitar) and Olivia Forney (vox, bass, keys) met in an opera workshop class in 2016 and have been making music together ever since. Joshua Ziner (drums) was added to the duo in 2018, and the band developed their new sound. Foxymoron is very active in the DIY music scene, from running a well known house venue in Newark, DE to working on national promotional campaigns . They take influence from artists including Fleetwood Mac, Manchester Orchestra, Simon and Garfunkel, Julien Baker, Tigers Jaw, and Hozier.
