Para fazer esse “Baião Temperado”, adicione os ritmos apimentados de Afterclapp ao clássico dos Barbatuques, acrescente voz e palavras condimentadas das Clarianas + Iara Ferreira, remexa tudo e pronto! Tá aí uma releitura do sucesso “Baião Destemperado”, feito há duas décadas pelo renomado grupo de percussão corporal.

A sonoridade nordestina do forró e baião, misturada ao marcante som do pífano, palmas e estalos do clássico lançado em 2002 ganha um elemento extra com a adição de beats orgânicos e de uma nova canção. 

A letra composta por Iara Ferreira é uma celebração da força do povo brasileiro unida ao clamor por uma luta pela cultura e através dela, sem violência. Nessa ode à história de Pernambuco, figuras do cangaço nordestino como Lampião e Maria Bonita são comemorados.

E eu cantei esse baião destemperado, como faz um bom soldado que não quer saber de guerra/ Meu verso corta mais do que peixeira, tem sabor de macaxeira e faz poeira levantar!

Ao lado de Iara, as Clarianas dão voz ao novo baião - Martinha Soares, Naloana Lima e Naruna Costa se propõem mais uma vez a investigar a voz da mulher "ancestral" na música popular do Brasil. 

A admiração do produtor com o Barbatuques é antiga. Afterclapp costumava ir aos shows do grupo nos SESC de São Paulo desde os anos 2000. Há um ano, o primeiro trabalho entre os dois foi lançado: um remix de “Do Mangue a Manga”, uma mistura quente de brasilidades com eletrônico. 

Os dois lançamentos saem pela da Gyra Records e estão disponíveis em todas as plataformas digitais.

Baião Temperado (Instrumental)

In October 2006, after being part of the exclusive bill at Rock in Rio, the Fingertips released a new single, “Move Faster”. 
As well as releasing the original single version, the band also invited renowned DJ Nuno Nobre to remix the song.  The outcome was an absolutely outstanding remix which blended the classic sound of the 80’s and dance floor grooves with harmonious Rock-Electro-Dance undertones, and was first played live at the Portugal Fashion Party at Act Club in Porto, Portugal.

This is the remix we made for Eivør's beautiful track 'Trøllabundin'. 

We love the original and tried making it playable during our performance. 
We really tried to maintain emptiness of the beat but to strengthen the voice, the vibe and build-up of the original.

We never really know what lies ahead of us, how we will spend the days we have left, the number of chapters our life is split into. One day we may enjoy walks in the forest, another day we might pick the green meadows. Our choices and their reasons are as versatile as flowers on a hill, and so is the artistic output of Lemonella (@lemonella). While having successfully delivered her signature blend of electronica to a fine selection of Berlins nightclubs and shimmering festivals around the globe, Lemonella also cultivates a fondness for introspective poetry and the more delicate facets of music. We are more than happy to accompany her on her artistic path and welcome her to our label family.
