Toomy Disco is an Argentine DJ and producer who has been building his career since 2007, primarily as a DJ. Over the years, he has become a regular performer at Buenos Aires most notorious clubs and the biggest festivals in his home country, while also developing an impressive discography. Today, his work is recognized not only in Argentina but across South America and Europe as well. Since the beginning of his career, Toomy Disco has been deeply influenced by house music, especially the New York and Chicago house scenes. He constantly seeks his own sound, sometimes through tougher, sometimes through smoother productions, but his tracks are always distinctive and full of character. In recent years, his music has been released on prestigious labels such as 8Bit, Hooj Choons, Great Stuff Recordings, and Kookoo Records, just to name a few. His tracks have received support from world-renowned artists including Carl Cox, Joris Voorn, Archie Hamilton, Claptone, The Shapeshifters, James Hype, Mark Knight, and many more. Three decades on from its original 1995 release, Todd Terry’s 'Devil’s Dance' still burns with the kind of manic, floor-filling energy that defined the early years of Hard Times. Now, Todd and the label return to the track, inviting a trio of today’s most vital club architects to rework one of Todd's most incendiary productions for a new generation of dancers.

Following a year that saw Chris Stussy and Dan Shake breathe new life into 'Bounce to the Beat,' Hard Times closes out 2025 with 'Devil’s Dance (Remixes),’ a collection that bridges old-school grit and new-school heat. Rossi., Demi Riquísimo, and Cinthie each bring their own distinct combustion to Todd’s iconic organ riffs and bulbous bassline, reframing the track through London, Berlin, and Balearic prisms.

Rossi. leans into the city that raised him: “It’s been a real pleasure to remix such an iconic inspiration for me as an artist. Todd is a legend and part of the reason why we have the culture of music we have today. I wanted to bring my remix back to my London roots - a UKG skippy, warpy approach that still carries those iconic chord riffs.”

For Demi Riquísimo, the task was reverent yet fearless. “I’ve been playing the original out for years, it’s actually my favourite Todd Terry track,” he says. “I didn’t want to tidy it up or make it too clean. That rough, raw production is what makes it magic. I added an acid line, a more prominent bassline, a few extra stabs, and shuffled the drums until it felt right.”

Berlin’s Cinthie closes the circle with her signature fusion of analog warmth and precision club dynamics: “Remixing Todd Terry? I was mad excited. For me, it was important to keep the old-school vibe but transport it into current times.”
