DJ Fursa is a Detroit raised and Bronx based Queer Iraqi-Chaldean DJ, activist, and organizer that has been on the scene for over 17 years. Fursa brings a passion for blending dabke, shami, chobi, redh, chaabi, maalaya, and mahraganat, mixed with pop, dance, and global booty beats to create an unforgettable atmosphere and perfect blend of sounds that will have you dancing all night long.

Fursa is also the founder of Tarab NYC (@tarabnycorg), an organization that fosters an inclusive and safe community of LGBTQ&GNC Middle Eastern and North African people in NYC. If you are lucky enough, you just might get to see them in drag, where Fursa becomes Farfasha, everyone's favorite khala, nana, and dominatrix, in one hot mess of a package.
