I felt every note of the tracks I played that night deep in my soul and blasted out through the speakers. Replaying this set will allow you to experience a taste of what I was feeling that night, freedom, liberation, movement, joy, excitement, love, honor, pleasure.

This is mix was mastered by @Christoph Rumblemunk from a phenomenal night on the dance floor to welcome the changing of seasons from summer to fall. We celebrated in an intimate ballroom with an intentional group of humans. This set was recorded on the main dance floor 1:30am - 3:00am. I hope you enjoy dancing to it as much as I did!

Set played for our annual Angels of bAss event. This time we took over the top and bottom floors of Monarch in San Francisco. Both dance floors were packed all night! Our guest DJ/producers Lowco and Paranoid Androidz brought it! Our local guest heroes Shooey, Dave Mak, and Ernie Trevino showed up with their A-game. And of course, Tamo, ViaJay, j9 the Angel, Haute Mess and I brought the vibe altogether.

With a female-identifying line-up for this version of 3 Degrees' Neurodancer event, we put the spotlight on womxn. I'm so grateful to be apart of this amazing community of humans. The set is inspired by the first track that starts off the set with Dom Dolla's Take It.

Nurse Noise specializes in cross-genre booty-shaking, bass-heavy, good-time feeling beats. She believes the attitude behind the decks is just as important as the music selection and mixing. With a background in performance arts, you might find her dancing on speakers to get the crowd going.

Nurse Noise is the co-founder of a unique live dance and DJ collaboration called the Venus Groove Collective. She is also a part of the Angles of bAss an all-female DJ collective. During the COVID pandemic, Lee-Anne has been coordinating online streaming events on Twitch for 2-day events with a crew-of-crews (seven different DJ collectives) called Unison. Unison creates celebrations with importance on generosity by raising money for chosen beneficiaries. Additionally, she contributes to the 3 Degrees and Friends 'n Family communities that actively throw campout festivals. 

Starting her DJ career in 1996 in college radio at KSCU and then KUSF, Nurse Noise had a prime-time radio show for seven years called "The Treatment Show". Gradually she worked her way onto the decks through her Burning Man camps: Magic Glasses, Coda, & Illuminaughty.
