Die Kaffee Jugend (DKJ) is a surrealistic music project, born in Paris in 2008 at the meeting of André and Rodrigo.
If you ask us what kind of music we do, we will probably never know the answer. We never planned what we were going to play. Of course we felt affinity between our musical views, and likewise, our musical tastes were in contact. For this reason, we chose to simply call our art the way it was produced: "automatic music writing".
The musical project Die Kaffee Jugend came to an end with the publication of the third album in 2009.

Independent musician/writer/producer specializing in lead and rhythm guitar. My main instrument is a Fender Strat. running into a Blues Junior IV. I record every through  my Apollo Twin using Logic Pro X as my DAW. Originally most of my sounds are recording in the box with plugins and anything new coming out will be focused on a more analog sound with real hardware as I continue to build up my studio. Personally, I’m most grateful to Rod Mansell @ Infinity for great evenings and teaching me shed loads, to Mike Bandoni @ Funkshone for showing me amazing things, learning together, and solid times, and big up to Jay Relf for the bulk of fun, frolic,
frivolousness, mad shit, sweat, blood, good, bad and ugly over the years.

Exercising my love for music through music.

We are a Brighton based, alternative rock band, with a vintage guitar sound accompanied by swirling synth and organ. We are all around 18 years old and have been playing music in various Brighton bands for many  years. We know how to put on a show. We aim to combine New York rock - e.g. Velvet Underground, the Strokes, Parquet Courts, with a groove based psychedelic sound drawing from bands such as Tame Impala and the Stone Roses.
