Törnquist is a bit of an odd combination of creative souls. The three members have all been creating music for some time: Inverse and Nut-K have been working in different corners of the electronic scene as solo artists (Inverse heavily into the Drum’n’Bass, and Nut-K more in the direction of trip-hop, lo-fi and Hip-Hop, with an occasional hint of House). The two had met each other some years before and early on decided they should make some tracks together…but had never really gotten around to it. Rock has previously been the main center of attention for Benji who appeared as the lead singer in The Crex. So, when the three eventually ended up in each other’s company, it turned out to be a creative crucible that quickly led to new music seeing the light of day.

We are not too picky with the style, as long as it's within a certain margin. We operate with most anything ranging from up and Downtempo electronic music, Hip-Hop (anything without autotune) Trip-Hop, Chill-Hop & Lounge. Heck, even Punk, Rock, mellow Jazz & singer-songwriter.

However, we are quite picky with the quality of the work.

Lee Yu-Huan is a musician from Taiwan. Lee started his training in classical music at age of 5. I will like and repost what I like, not what I am asked to!
I like good melodies, quality stuff, with high production quality.

I am not a big fan of Heavy metal and hardcore Techno.
I am super tired of Trap beats, and autotune as an instrument is not my cup of tea.

Nut-K first began DJing in his early teenage years. Before long he was making mixtapes for his buddies. One thing led to the other, and eventually, he had to try my skills as a musician. He hasn’t exactly been super devoted to getting his music out in the world. To him, it’s always been more about having fun and enjoying the process. He still does, although the creation process these days looks quite different from the early years.

With the arrival of the internet, and everything that it has brought with it. The way to the public eye somehow seems a lot shorter. And He was amazed to see that the great public actually seems to like the music that he make.
