Once a place like heaven and now neglected, almost forgotten. But I enjoy the ruins, the (forgotten) memories and see the beauty. I like to visit abandoned houses and fantasize about the past. I paint it more beautiful than it was ever before. Something like heaven, sweeter than heaven Nostalgia!

for existential dread?
Can I tighten my soul with a twist of a cap?
Do I need premium dreams?
Or just more air in the metaphorical tires?

The Light Is On

Verrucas is about those nasty warts. Relentless, unavoidable, omnipresent.

An ordinary wart, that happens to grow on the sole of my foot.
It's hard and flat and consists of a core of tough warty tissue.
Buried in the skin of my foot by the pressure of standing.

EPILOGUE

Verrucas is about those nasty warts: relentless, unavoidable, omnipresent. The song was inspired by an article in one of those magazines, living on a side table, only read when procrastinating. A song about this fact of life was simply unavoidable. However, it was hard, incredibly hard: in 1996 writing started, and it took us 25 years to finalize the piece. But there it was, a song about warts, until then missing in our cultural heritage.

Recently we took up the challenge to improve the song. Here, we proudly present the return of the warts: Verrucas (enhanced version).

Nutmeg Nuisance is inspired by old-fashioned progressive rock. Some of our favourites are Happy the Man, UK, Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Zappa. Nevertheless, all of our music is fictitious and any resemblance to any music you know is more or less purely coincidental. Except when mentioned otherwise.
