Hi I am Davidaka MC UV (Uplifting Vibes),  I started off messing around to Jazz, Electro and Break-dance & Hip Hop. I then moved onto Acid House, Jungle and Happy Hardcore. My first inspiration of Mc’ing was seeing Ice T in the movie ‘Breakdance’. The track was called ‘Reckless’ performed in 1984.

Easy-E,..N.W.A,..PUBLIC Enemy.Eric B & Rakim, african bambaataa.Kid and play.warren g and nate dogg and so many more Amazing rap and Hip Hop artists
As for the Rave Music,
The Original Detonator Robbie Dee, Scratch Master Techno, Stevie Hyper D, MC five O, Charlie B, MC Knight, Nice & Easy and more recently Whizzkid. 

My first introduction to Mc’ing was in 1989 by attending an illegal rave based near Portsmouth. I saw a MC up on stage and was instantly hungry to get up and perform. Although I was a young lad the ‘hunger’ was set in stone and I knew this was my calling. Feedback that night from the MC and the crowd was very encouraging and, it was said I was a ‘natural’… the rest is history! 

From there on I use to sneak into Central Park, Portsmouth and one evening managed to blag my way onto the mic. I performed for half an hour with ‘DJ Sweet’ before the legendary ‘MC Lucky’ took over. Because I was so young looking (still am ha-ha!) I got thrown out as under age. This did not put me off I was more determined.

To this day I am still very passionate and love crowd Participation when I'm on the mic. 
For me Mc’ing is the best form of expression as it makes me feel free. 

I do some project Work .My main tasks involved working with young adults in various youth centres teaching music theory, Dj’ing and Mcing. 
I really enjoyed passing on my skills and knowledge a very satisfying experience. 

As for me. If my followers are there I’ll be there to perform to the best of my abilities. 
This keeps me going and I love the crowd participation and seeing the smiling faces in the crowd. 
In my opinion and long term Mc’ing experience a lot of MC’s are too serious and forget it is about having ‘fun’ the RaVeR'S and of course ‘uplifting’ the ‘vibes‘! 

I have worked along some fantastic talent from my early years for example, I was on the same bill as the Prodigy, playing a set before they came on stage. 
My first big break was at ‘Sterns’ thanks to ‘Menser’ (R.I.P mate). 
Sterns was the best club in the world as far as I'm concerned 
I would give anything for one more night !! 
But, I know that's not going to happen because now it’s an tea-room and hotel !!

After Sterns I moved onto gigs at the Rhythm Station and promoting nights for my mates Pukka Promotions. 
I was also Mc'ing for ‘Fusion’ on the Isle of Wight in the 90's for Hixxy , Dj Supreme and many other great Djs at the time.
I opened up my own record shop in Waterlooville (Mad Vinyl) in the 90’s, 
As hardcore has progressed I've had the privilege to play at these Events

Presently, I work closely with Lee Alton ‘Alton X’, Jon Owen ‘Ruined Jon’ . Quoted from Lee Altons profile, “It was at the Barn (Portsmouth) where I was introduced to MC UV who I now work with alot,and he travels with me where possible and we work together well”..We all Buzz off each other in terms of our shared Love of Music and the Rave scene.
