An event hosted by slarmoooo in the beepbox discord where we took turns guessing a prompt for a song and the someone else making a song for it, with 1 day to guess and 2 days to create songs. The chains were 5 songs/prompts long, and there were 42 chains in total! (a LOT of people participated).

This song was for round 2. The prompt was: Gato (cat) jazz

I spent too much time on this one considering how little time we have to work on them. Somehow it worked out, and I even managed to make Halfway There too while this event was going on. This is the most beeps I've ever finished in a short time period.

I made this for round 3. The prompt was: Calm before a big showdown

I think this one ended up sounding more like 'tale of a cruel world' from terraria calamity mod - more sad than threatening. It's still tense though so not too bad. The strings and piano come from pokemon gen 5 samples.

Open The Door [Gartic Beep)

Made for round 3 of the 6th beepbox discord tournament. We were tasked with making a character theme for either a good, neutral or evil character, based on DnD alignment charts.

This meant we had to write a bunch to explain the context of our songs to the judges. I've put the lore together with the song pastelink if you're interested.

The short version of it is that this song is about a dwarven inventor named Yoltz, and his story of settling into a new town, becoming a hero, and eventually leaving it for the last time.
