For NVR009 Nu Venture Records present their second Dubstep single to date, complete with Moxix’s ‘After Dark Remix’ and Dexcell’s ‘Drum & Bass Remix’. The ninth commercial release from NVR, sees 4 more artists joining the Nu Venture roster, representing both Dubstep & Drum & Bass genres.

Talon, a Drum & Bass and Dubstep producer from Perth Australia, has teamed up with U.K based vocal group FS and London producers Dexcell and Moxix, to create the much hyped Dubstep single that is ‘Faded’. After a string of successful releases and having already featured his impressive remix of ‘Colour The Sky - Dealers’, as the stand out track on Nu Venture Records’ free to download ‘Definition LP’ last year, the time has come for him to unleash his greatest master piece yet. 3 commanding tracks that are a must for your Bass music collection.

Running alongside this release will be a remix competition, in which potential remix artists will have the opportunity to feature on an NVR remix release later in the year! Faded is full vocal Dubstep track combining Talon’s refined production expertise with the diverse vocal range of FS. Opening with washes of synth, delicate hi-hats and curious swirling crescendo’s. Followed by spirited melodic female vocals and an energetic tantalizing kick. The drop sees the introduction of sharp drums, a head nodding rolling bassline and contrasting Grime inspired male vocals, to give this track a real varied upbeat flow. A bold single that is sure to rank high amongst anyone’s record collection. Contains explicit lyrics!

► [B] Talon Feat. FS - Faded [Dexcell Remix]: [DRUM & BASS]
Having already had a release on Dexcell’s own imprint Breach Audio, Talon called upon the London based trio to remix his single ‘Faded‘, to further enhance this distinctive release. The Dexcell remix crosses the genre boundaries from Dubstep to Drum & Bass, with the intention of not forgetting the longstanding Nu Venture faithful. Dexcell take this Drum & Bass remix down a heavier avenue, blending together intense opening hi-hats, abrupt drums, a dark sinister bassline and FS’ spirited female vocals. Culminating together to complete this intense commanding remix and further increase its dance floor credentials.

► [C] Talon Feat. FS - Faded [Moxix After Dark Remix]: [DUBSTEP]
The second remix from this single comes courtesy of Moxix and represents the darker and dirtier side to this release. From the off the listener is under no false pretences as what to expect through the addition of some dominant synth stabs and forceful drums to give the original a true twist. The drop combines assertive pulsating sub bass and unbroken hi-hats to give the feel of an increased tempo over its predecessor. Yet Moxix manages to make full use of FS’ female vocals, through scratch style effects, to maintain the link the original. A real contender for a peak timeslot in any Dubstep set that is sure to get any dance floor skanking.

[A] SND - Everything:
Kicking off the EP is Russian producer SND, adding to his already impressive collection of releases with his latest vocal imprint, Everything. This track has a lively but mellow feel, which is achieved through the use of soft calming female vocals and atmospheric strings, complimented by an expansive bass line, to add to the sense of tranquility and setting the standard for the remainder of the EP.

[B] Mole - Set Me Free:
It's no secret that Prague has an immense Drum & Bass following & with this comes no shortage in emerging production talent, so continuing this trend is Czech producer Mole, presenting us with his bold vocal track Set Me Free. In this energetic track Mole begins with a contrasting serene approach to the intro. He manages this by using alluring vocals & enticing strings, before unleashing those sharp drums, distinctive percussion & a deep dominating bass line at a frequency that will be appreciated by any dance floor. 

[C] Redemptive - Within Nature:
Completing the EP in true style is Danish producer Redemptive launching his debut release Within Nature on NVR. This is a track of pure upbeat Liquid goodness with magical highs & soothing yet mystifying pads, expertly combined with a deep & driving bass line, to create this enchanting high tempo track. Just shy of 8 minutes long this epic masterpiece allows you to sit back & let the music take you on an all inspiring journey.

[A] Yanntek & Magiic - Multiverse:
Opening the release is Multiverse, a collaboration between German Producer Yanntek and Danish Producer Magiic, resulting in their first dual release together and a debut appearance on Nu Venture Records for both artists. Combining the production talents of both artists this energetic track features jagged synths and mysterious pads, alongside high tempo and abrupt Breakbeat inspired drums and an industrious bassline to complete this purposeful track!

[B] Gourski - Turtle Spin:
Rounding off the release is Turtle Spin from Russian Drum & Bass Producer and DJ, Gourski. The track begins by enticing you in with a subdued intro providing sharp persistent highs and atmospherically enhancing pads, before revealing the true nature of this heavy hitting stepper! After an intense escalating build up Gourski unleashes that deep dominating bassline. After a series of successful individual artist EPs and singles, comes the first Various Artist EP from Nu Venture Records.

NVR007: the Eastern Promise EP consists of 6 Drum & Bass tracks composed by producers representing Eastern Europe; Russia, Czech Republic, Slovakia & Latvia. With the frequent emergence of some impressive producers from this region Nu Venture records have compiled a selection of their finest upcoming producers.

The EP covers an assortment of Drum & Bass and Liquid styles, from the smooth upbeat vibes of Hyperion Vision, to the heavy vocal track You and I from the experienced Sigurt. Emphonic brings some deep, melodic and ambient sounds whilst Eye Depth adds his warm and expansive track I Love You, to complete the EP.

► Sigurt Biography:
Sigurt has long been considered Slovakia`s rising secret in the world of Drum & Bass. Peter, aka Sigurt, started producing Drum & Bass in early 2007 and has a vast musical understanding which long proceeds this date. He began to express his natural talent during his teenage years through playing guitar in an amateur Rock group. Always open to new methods and styles he encountered his first experience with Electronic music. This ultimately led to the discovery of Drum & Bass for Sigurt. It was the intricate structures, the fast tempo and heavy bass lines that helped encourage him to pursue developing his production skills. In just a short few years Sigurt has elevated his abilities as a Drum and Bass Artist and has released a number of tracks on labels including; Urban Chemistry Recordings and Liquid Brilliants.

► Hyperion Vision Biography:
Hyperion Vision, hailing from Moscow Russia, is a Producer with a decade long passion for Drum & Bass. It was influential producers of the era such as; John B, Blu Mar Ten and Seba that led him to making his own tracks. Once he reached the high standards he is at today he has begun to create bright and melodic tracks, building upon each success. Always looking for new ways to take his work to the next level you will often find him experimenting with different sounds and collaborating with like minded artists. Which can be seen in his previous releases on labels such as Liquid Tones, Liquid Brilliants, Silk Recordings and DLA Black.

► Emphonic Biography:
Emphonic is a Czech born DJ and Producer, currently residing in Belgium, who has been involved in the music production scene since 2004. With years of experience behind his keyboard, various synth creations and a dedication to sound engineering, he is currently exploring his creative limits crossing the boundaries into other genres. His productions of late have begun to identify his true sound, taking him in the direction of slower tempos and ambient melodies. He has successfully participated in a number of remix competitions, with Blu Mar Ten paying particular interest to his entry in to the All or Nothing competition. This inevitably led to his tracks being released on various labels and Drum & Bass compilations.

► Eye Depth Biography:
Nauris Soltums, or as he is better known by his artist alias Eye Depth, is an electronic music producer from Riga, Latvia. It wasn’t until late 2008 when influenced by big House artists such as Axwell and Dirty South he started to experiment with alternative producing software. Eventually progressing from FL Studio to Ableton, his choice today. With a lack of inspiring House tracks Eye Depth’s attention turned to Hip Hop. It was almost fate that he came across Breaks / Drum & Bass, when all it took was for him to accidentally increase the BPM on what was intended to be a 85 BPM Hip Hop loop. From here he is now studying as a Music Technician to perfect his techniques, which has already helped result in a string of releases.
