Magician On Duty proudly presents Losers Arcade, the mesmerizing new EP from NUVM (@nuvemduo), a live electronic duo whose evocative blend of darkness and beauty has been quietly reshaping the contours of the underground scene.

Formed in 2022 by Maya Gonçalves (FR/PT) and Dario Esposito (IT), NUVM has been traversing Europe’s creative hubs—France, Italy, and Germany—collecting fragments of emotion, rhythm, and texture to craft a sound that moves fluidly between dancefloor melancholy and dark indie dance. Their music merges somber synths, pulsing basslines, and ethereal vocals, weaving intimate narratives that feel both cinematic and visceral.

Their latest offering, Losers Arcade, unfolds like a nocturnal odyssey through shadow and light. The title track welcomes listeners into a dark, hypnotic atmosphere—a dimly lit club where haunting vocals echo among writhing silhouettes, carried by monumental synths and a magnetic sense of tension.

The journey continues with 13, a ritualistic, dark disco invocation. Driven by wild percussions and a spellbinding groove, the track conjures an almost supernatural energy—whispers of witchcraft layered atop a hypnotic bassline, inviting the listener to surrender to its mysterious rhythm.

With Losers Arcade, NUVM confirms their place among the most compelling new voices in live electronic music—a duo unafraid to merge emotion with edge, and melody with mysticism.

My fellow cat lovers, here's my set which I had the pleasure to play at @mira_kater's birthday party Monday early morning. As you requested, this after-hour kicks off with some groovy and sexy vibes. And if you listen closely, you'll  also hear a touch of nostalgia unfolding throughout the set. 

Maybe it's because I'm turning 40 next year, but I felt the need to take a little trip down memory lane – back to the beginning: When I came to Berlin in 2010, the first club I fell in love with was Kater Holzig and danced there almost every weekend (at least when Steffi let me in). No surprise, those first years were very important to me, both musically and personally. And now, last Monday, I was standing there in Acid Bogen, the place where it all began. In the front row, friends I had met over ten years ago on this very dance floor - back then with far too much glitter on our faces ✨😘🫶🏻. 

So this set is a tribute to that wonderful time and a thank you to @kater_blau and all the incredibly artists of and around this club. Vielen Dank für die Einladung, liebe @mira_kater ❤️
