Kevin's come a long way since he originally became a resident DJ at our very first Desert Hearts. He's built himself a cult following at our parties and never ceases to bring the tremendous amount of energy that he's become known for. Friday afternoon at our our 3 Year Anniversary Festival was Kevin's time to shine as technical difficulties from another artist allowed him a special 3 hour set behind the decks. Sans shirt and the "Kevvie Tunes" pumpin', Friday afternoon was the rager we'd all dreamed of with Kev Dawg at the helm. It's our pleasure to share with you 3 hours of straight party jams courtesy of our boy Kevin Anderson.

We just can't get enough of 23 year old youngster and rising Desert Hearts Records star Fritz Carlton. After signing one of the biggest EPs on the label to date with "That's My Kinda Night", he immersed himself in the vibe of our community and absolutely destroyed the place at our Spring Festival 2016. Playing largely a set filled with his unreleased productions and personal edits to classic tracks, on Sunday night of the festival he gave us something so fresh and so dirty that it was hard not to join the frenzy our family was whipped into. With an arsenal of original productions, an unrivaled work ethic and drive, and a gangsterific swagger to hold down any dance floor, we know this kid is going to be a star and can't wait to watch his rise to prominence in the next couple of years. Let's just say we had a family vote and we're keeping him. ✌
