Bastard Abroad, is a Haitian DJ and Electronic Music Producer based in New York. He was introduced to the musical world at a very young age through piano lessons. He later worked as a bedroom producer for over a decade, which helped him perfect his craft and develop his own unique sound.  

Bastard Abroad’s music aims to create awareness, inspire change and bridge social gaps. His culture is the foundation for his sound, a mixture of house, afrohouse, deep house and trance music. Although he finds inspiration in every sub-genre of electronic music, his eclectic style remains soulful and melodic.
 
Artists including Above and Beyond, Daft Punk, Black Coffee, Bodhi Satva, Armin Van Buuren, Zhu, and Peggy Gou influence his work. Some of his musical projects include Lonewolf/Solar (2018 - Self-released EP), Feel the vibe ft. Phil I. (2019 - Self-Release Single). He has also played as a DJ at cultural events, including the I Encuentro Afrocostarricense de Artes Visuales (1st Afro-Costa Rican Visual Arts Gathering) held in Costa Rica in 2019.
