Following in the footsteps of animated bands like The Gorillaz, Alternative Pop Punk rockers Second State delivered dynamic and exceptional songs in 2022. Bursting out of the blocks with a combination of thumping rhythms, catchy hooks and edgy guitars, they have taken their cue from iconic bands like Blink 182, Green Day and Good Charlotte, yet have created their own unique and infectious brand. Comprising of SEVEN, RIOT, EDGE and RAZOR the group are based in the far-flung corners of the globe. Time and distance may separate them but they are united in their quest to produce quality music for today’s generation. That virtual combination of song writing prowess has led them to coin the phrase, “We exist everywhere and nowhere”. That announcement in and of itself explains the animated art that supports their music. Mind-blowing in its textures and emotional context, it keeps pace with their music and adds an air of mystery to their work. Original, authentic but with echoes of past trends, their songs to date have received critical acclaim across the industry. Elements of the golden age of punk flow through their veins, but it is their own journey that is foremost in their minds. Now with 2023 in full effect, their reputation as a group on the rise is about to go to the next level with an upcoming album and single releases. With so many irons in the fire, there is no doubt that Second State have what it takes to set the world ablaze.
