Oscar Mulder, better known as DJ Perroz, is a seasoned techno producer from the Netherlands with a rich history in the music scene. His journey began in the 90s, deeply influenced by the hardcore genre, before taking a hiatus. However, his love for electronic music never waned, and a thoughtful gift from his wife – a DJ controller – reignited his passion five years ago. Since then, he has immersed himself in the driving techno sound, drawing inspiration from both past and present icons like Buzz Fuzz and Charlotte de Witte.  

Oscar’s music is a reflection of his diverse influences, blending modern techno with nostalgic 90s elements, characterized by storytelling arrangements and a touch of simplicity. His creative process resembles that of crafting a narrative, with each track telling its own story. Despite embarking on his musical journey alone, Oscar acknowledges the pivotal role of Adriana Vega, whose support and belief in his talent led to the signing of his track “Focus and Concentration.” 

His mantra of self-belief and authenticity resonates deeply with fellow artists, as he encourages them to stay true to their sound while continually evolving. In the years to come, Oscar envisions himself performing his music regularly, fueled by his unwavering passion for techno and dedication to his craft.

DJ Set on November 24th (2012), Thanksgiving night w/ Infected Mushroom

“I want the crowd to feel like they’re at a metal show with the bass shaking their chest
cavities and a huge grin on their face.” Scarewolf, A.K.A. Brandon Mains, speaks on
his upcoming show at 2720 Cherokee with Israel-bred, world-renowned psychedelic
trance outfit, Infected Mushroom. The Saint Louis native electronic producer will tear
it up on the famed stage November 24th alongside such other openers as Steve Todd
and Miss J.

A musician since he bought his first guitar in 6th grade, Mains has continued to explore
his musical boundaries, learning music programs and writing songs at a young age,
then continuing on to front vocals for his metal band, Robot Werewolf. After graduation
from Saint Louis University in 2010 with a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics, and
after finding no occupation other than his love for music production, Mains decided
to reinvent himself. In result, Scarewolf was born; a hard fun electronic force to be
reckoned with on long hazy nights in South City Saint Louis.

“There are often hidden messages within my songs, whether they are serious or
comical. I made a song called ‘Dumpster Pizza’ about hipster trash. I think the hipsters
will dig it.” In combination with the hard hitting drums of a rock band, catchy spacious
synth lines guide each song along into moods only Mains could express. As he touches
on intense bass noises in the likes of such producers as Skrillex and Feed Me,
Scarewolf enters a realm of dark fun that seems almost cult-like.

Last year, Mains released the single, “Allow Me to Scare You,” on Soundcloud.com
and experienced a tremendous amount of love from fans, reaching over 2,000 plays
and almost 100 downloads in just one week. Shortly thereafter, he released his first EP,
creating the same type of effect. Since the last release, love has continued to grow as
Mains prepares to take the Saint Louis scene by storm. Alongside his original tunes, he
most recently completed an official remix of “Singularity,” a song from popular Illinois
metal band Born of Osiris. The band is looking to release an album of remixes in the
near future featuring Scarewolf and other producers.

The motivated artist currently continues work on his second anticipated EP, “Long
Rectangular Waveforms,” which is intended for release some time this winter.
