TAHLTAN STRONG vol. 3 is a follow up project to the original TAHLTAN STRONG EP released in November 2018 and volume 2 released in May 2019. The featured students wrote all the lyrics, melodies and played all instruments. The EP also features local Tahltan Elders.

At the beginning of 2021, Marshall Marie and Jamie Mason of Klemtu, B.C. had the idea of writing and recording a song for their high school graduation. They reached out to N'we Jinan/inPath artist and mentor Milan André, who helped them write and record this song, all through video calls online. Here is a quote from Marshall Marie about the meaning behind the song:

"the lyrics that I sing are about my opa and also about how I was in a dark place, but thinking about him helped me rise above the water that i was drowning in. I also dedicate this song to people that are going through things. They should think about loved ones that aren't here with us anymore and also start doing things like getting through depression and drug/alcohol addiction. Jamie wrote and played the guitar, as well as the intro lyrics she sings, which are about her nanny. We made this song for us, but also for others who will listen to this song"
