Why its called Smasual (smart-casual) Rock and its both accessible AND niche. 

We are 4 guys with 4 different musical tastes and backgrounds. I mean, we got a guitarist who wants to be Eddie Van Halen, both in guitar playing AND in hairstyle. A left handed drummer who listens to a band called Snot. A bassist who actually plays guitar more than bass and whose black hoody has become a gig staple after only 5 gigs. And finally a singer who has realised he will never be Brandon Boyd but does look remarkably similar to legendary Liverpool left-back John Arne-Riise.

We knew we didnt want our name to have "The" in its title and that we didnt want to write music to sound like every indie band out there who seem to make songs that sound all the same but still manage to get famous somehow.

So stop reading this, 'ave a listen and lets turn that frown upside down.

Give Me France are a dynamic four-piece outfit from Stockport, England. 

After forming during their university years, they have performed in a variety of different line ups over the last decade and have been regulars on the UK unsigned circuit. With influences such as The War On Drugs, The National and Radiohead, the band have created a unique blend of innovative rhythms and affecting melodies within ambitious soundscapes.
 Their self titled debut album was released on iTunes and Spotify in January 2018, having been recorded over a series of studio sessions at Giant Wafer Recording Studios in Powys, Wales. The album’s release will be followed by an extensive UK tour in the summer of 2018.
