Sergio Garcia's how commonly this Extremeño artist is best known in the electronic scene, true defender of vinyl and analog lover, this Extremeño began his obsession with DJing back in 2002, now 11 years ago. Later, he would deliver to the world of music production and live performance, where years ago are looking locked in his different studio and more personal sound.

Throughout these years he has been associated with artists like Gaiser, Ben Sims, Pascal FEOS, Angel Molina, Marco Bailey, David Carreta, Maral Salmassi, Luke Slater, Alexander Kowalski, and a very long etc..

Sergio Garcia's passion for music and self-expression not only takes you to the dance floor, takes a step beyond assisting in events from the world of fashion and art. He worked several years with the Creative X-Pressure (IFEMA, Círculo de Bellas Artes) group and putting their two cents in several exhibitions of contemporary art with the artist and ceramicist Jaime Bueno Rontomè, in the most prominent and final exhibition ' NO '.

But the truth is that the musical horizon of Sergio is huge: Techno, Minimal, Funk, Soul, oldschool, Electronica, Experimental, Synthpop, rock ... This has been demonstrated over recent years, where he has taken his music by cities across Spain.

His musical evolution has never been linear at all, a 'logical progression', he has always been open to twists, turns, creative madness, and since lately joined to a way of create live, joined to what he likes which is work with different groups and bands, first creating the techno group Electrik Addition with his partner and friend Acastelo with a direct exclusively with machines, bringing some order to the dance floor.

Later creating their own Alter Ego called TRØMMEL, with live performances and only fully working with analog devices ... synths, groovebox ... etc, this alter ego was created more than anything to not have to follow any pattern and to create and act freely.

Now, he is installed in Madrid being one of the new players of the Madrid KAIZEN BOOKING agency. Also becoming part of the Madrid group Nodogs, band that combines alternative rock and electronics, where Sergio seeks to experience, create, find new textures, contributing their bit to the group, that soon they will draw new album. Settled in Madrid this year, and eager to make war on the capital city.

NXT recordings signs a third release in Cortexiphan series, subdivision of its catalog oriented to experimental and avant-garde music that has on this occasion with an EP of HYPERCUBE (Rodrigo Passannanti), long-time music producer who focuses his music on experimentation with extensive use of software effect plugins, audio editors and processors within the computer environment.

Dimensional Collapse is a highly addictive frequency modulated EP including a morphogranular remix by Pharmakustik bringing back your senses to semi permanent embryonic state and ecstatic revelations.

The EP opens with Parabolic, an advanced electronic track full of details that intersperses volatile elements and short atmospheric passages with two synth lines that accompany the rhythm next to the bass drum. Embryo Spoon is a track with more groove and like the rest of tracks in the EP is not exempt of details, but in this case HYPERCUBE opts more for a more minimalist style. Parabolic’s Pharmakustik remix closes the release with a more twisted version than the original.

For this 25th Premiere of 2020, we have a track from the owner of the label Soil Records "SOJ" from the upcoming Album "Slow Burn" [IC004] on the Spanish label : Industrial Complexx.

Industrial Complexx is a media linked to dark, transgressive, experimental, eclectic and dissonant electronic music. It first emerges as a digital platform but, its activity expands as a record company, and also, as a printed medium.

Industrial Complexx returns with a fourth release by the enigmatic SOJ, an artist who is in charge of Soil Records and who during these last two years has managed to bring to the forefront both his artistic project and his work as head of the record company.

Slow Burn is an album that faithfully captures the interpretive charisma of this producer, who even mixing various genres such as industrial, techno and EBM, manages to create a very identifiable style based mainly on worked percussive sounds, great bass lines and textures with a certain degree of distortion that expands throughout the panoramic spectrum.

The album shows SOJ's versatility to create tracks with very different approaches, and although we have to consider it a heterogeneous work, there are always elements that give away its authorship.

TL Premiere : SOJ - SB05 [Industrial Complexx]

After recording under the name Autobam, Simone Lalli is definitively dropping his moniker and starting to release his music simply under his birth name. This new phase saw the production of Marefermo in March 2020, a 4-track digital-only EP that captures and reshapes many of the tropes of the vast electronic music landscape; in particular crossing borders between industrial, glitch, IDM and neoclassical genres.

Now he is releasing another new work, Muta/Larva, a 2-track digital-only EP, which consolidates and extends the path he already embarked on with Marefermo. Muta/Larva also functions as a sneak peek of Simone's musical direction for a full-length upcoming album.

This EP is self-released on Simone's bandcamp page, in cooperation with Ammiratore Omonimo Records, the unconventional music label from the band vonneumann. This collaboration consolidates a partnership that will come to life with the release of the full album.

Muta/Larva is divided in 2 tracks. Muta is the closure of Marefermo. It solidifies and seals that group of tracks unquestionably. The title is in itself a declaration: “muta” in Italian means transition, a metamorphosis. It’s the shedding of your skin. But the term also means “diving suit” - a sort of second skin you use to dive in deep waters. Like for example the waters of a motionless sea, those of Marefermo (“mare” in Italian means sea, “fermo” still). Muta is the end of something, but also a new beginning.

Larva translates exactly in English: it’s the first phase of a metamorphosis which will bring something completely different to life, something beautiful. Right now we can’t predict, but the track is dragging us in a more confused zone, where sounds are hard to pin-point and they overlap constantly in a digital swamp. The listener is amazed and confused. Ancient Romans used the term “larvæ” to indicate malicious spirits – possibly another hint on what Simone has up for the future.

NXT recordings emerges as an idea developed in a couple of years, a concept fraught with multiple inputs and one common denominator: the ambition to contribute to the electronic scene with a identity of quality. 

The label was founded in 2013 and is a nexus between the agency NXT management, their international artists and especially the concern of the components of his collective, made up of local DJs with a vast musical culture, who are responsible for engendering the project. The main challenge is the introduction of new talent in the international scene and the collaboration among them and consecrated producers. 

NXT recordings is open to endless possibilities, subject to compliance with the qualitative factor and artistic originality.
