I was ecstatic to get the call-up from Runway Rhythm to help soundtrack the section featuring local Te-Whanganui-A-Tara based clothing label FORMULA 7. Designed by Jake Puklowski, the garments capture visions of a cold and gritty technological future, and echo cries of escapism from the mundane human form. Already familiar with the brand, I went into Ableton for the first time ever and got started on something I hoped would capture the essence of this aesthetic.
