Tony Truong (born Oct 17, 2001), better known by his stage name Trickstaer, is a Vietnamese American rapper, singer, composer, and record producer. He received initial recognition from his third collection of music, Phantoms of Reiterations: released in September 2020. Raised in North Carolina, Tony was born in an immigrant family who moved to the United States in fallout of the Vietnam War. Through the turbulent life which came from struggling as low income immigrants and being raised around drugs, gambling, and violence, he took to music despite his family, his teachers, and the society advocating against it. Dedicated to defying many of the beliefs around him which would embolden the drama which surrounded, is now known as a bonified self-styled "philosophical entertainer" through many words coming from Zen buddhist theology and sort of mystic.

Early in youth Tony recorded and wrote a song over “Reflection Eternal” - by the late producer Nujabes, allowing self expression which was not nearly provided by the constant changing environment around him. Slowly over the years, he had fallen in love with the process of music. And after 5 years of growing his ability, within a span of months had amassed over 50 thousand streams. Successfully gaining the attention of one of the fastest growing towns in the US; New Braunfels, TX. Afterwards leaving school in the 11th grade to pursue music. 

Despite all ways against him, he released four hit songs in 2021, “Trip City”, “Caress”, “Afraid of the Dark”, and “Don’t Let Me Fade”, from his most recent 14 track album ‘Delinquent Center’. Which hit 7 on Top 300's Charts. Independent with no team, Trickstaer has gained the eyes of many, by himself, with little to no PR, From 2015 to present time.

Later in 2022, he now owns two surplus businesses. A pitbull kennel called Sahara & Bonnie Bullies LLC, a storefront, and "Special Occasion Modeling." his modeling agency
