Words can't describe just how grateful I am for the extraordinarily special community of musicians, artists, performers, vendors, culinary experts, engineers and all 'round legends that came together for to co-create an unforgettable New Years at The Kibbutz. Each time I visit the Art Valley Land, I'm blown away by how much fun and flow I see and experience. I'm honored to be a part of this extended festival family. Thank you all for your authenticity, kindness and presence. 

The Kibbutz featured some of the most high vibe moments I've had the pleasure of experiencing at a festival. It also served up another profoundly humbling yet insightful psychedelic journey.

To say I'm chuffed to get to be a part of this great unfolding is an understatement. I'm so glad to be here.

Thank you Gill for inviting us into your amazing space, thank you Tom and the Meta Sounds fams for your sensational sound system, Thank you Cam for your amazing (as always) work as Musical Director and huge thank you to everyone else involved.

Levitate Launch Party 29/07 
Levitate is an exciting and upcoming warehouse day party that is bringing a new culture of partying to Sydney of enjoying music and community sustainably. As a co-founder of this event, this launch party and set were incredibly special. The space, lighting, and décor were visually stunning (you can get a glimpse of the insane laser show LitnessLights provided in the image), but more importantly, the crowd brought so much stoke, love, and playfulness that made the day truly magical. It really felt like the beginning of a divine new community who are going to shake up the Sydney party scene and generate a new way of enjoying music, dance, and togetherness while carrying the good vibes into the week. Let’s party in a way that amplifies our whole lives. Many thanks to everyone who came and levitated with us!!!

Life has been busy this last little window of time. I continue striving to strike a balance between work and play, and am grateful for the lessons and growth that come from the journey, and for the incredible amount of love and support I receive from all of my beautiful connections. 

I'm feeling especially excited for a couple of special upcoming gigs, not least of all Dragon Dreaming, one of my all time favourite gatherings, stacked this year with so much talent including so many of my favourite beings. 

I unwittingly overwrote my USB recently, losing not just a couple of recordings from recent sets but also the tracklist history. This has left me reluctant to upload recreations of those sets. This weekend I've decided instead to record another mix for my KONECAST series, the first in a year.

This KONECAST recording is reminiscent of the vibe from the first half of my set at LEVITATE (minus the dollop of groovy tech house and 140+bpm techno at the end, which will likely be featured in upcoming KONELIVE and KONECAST sets).

3days & 3nights later.. this eye opening & Soul defining experience would change Sam's life forever. Immersion very quickly went deeper into this world 🌍 and it was not long before he found his place was intended for the other side of the decks

Doc.'s first electronic endeavours were made through early prehistoric forms of midi controllers & first generation CDJz ....
Tasman Bush Tech.
Doc. first started forming his foundation of Sound from his loves for the Proggy chunk and underground Psytrance  and of course the tasty Bush Tech tunes too.
Big Kiwi influences early on were - Grouch, Cosm, Flaxnation, Dawnbeaver.
some say around 2011 Doc. vanished..
Others say he just went off the Radar..
the real story .... 
Doc... was tricked into becoming an Adult..
And for a period of Time Doc. disappeared...

This time Doc. returns for good.
