On the remix duties is highly talented Lea Lisa from the Wolf Music fame. For her 303 Mental Remix she adds an irresistible acid bassline (quelle surprise) and creates probably the most peak time-affine tune of the whole EP. Shuray & Walles first extended player is a perfect example for reduced but clever arrangements and above all for the fact that the best ship is friendship.“

O*RS are delighted to share „This Is My Beginning“, the first single by newcomer duo Heron from Leipzig. Their debut album „one“ is set to be released beginning of next year. 
Consisting of producer Tino Kulisch and singer/writer Birthe Kleemann, Heron have been quietly recording their album for the past 1,5 years. Both of them have been playing together in several bands for a long time but with Heron they exclusively join forces as a duo. Heron’s sound resembles 80s Synthwave and sits between dance floor euphoria and introspective listening. 
„This Is My Beginning“ feels like leaving a neon-illuminated city behind at night as you take the highway to an uncertain future. The lyrics deal with the unstoppable movement of water - how it slowly ascends until it finally breaches the shore. Heron’s debut single is about something inside you bottling up until you decide that is time for a departure and a new beginning.

Somewhere between the future and the past, they are written, but the chains of "Now" blow them up - "Unchained" flat.

Thomas' joint effort with Mono & Joel, released by Oliver Schories label 'der turnbeutel', and has been well-received, causing our expectations of this young musician living in Leipzig to grow.
Justifiably so! Thomas Scholz is currently working on releasing his first solo-EP. 'asle-ep' is slated to appear under the label O*RS and includes distinctive original songs and fantastic remixes.

'I break free' showcases the unbelievable versatility of Thomas Scholz's musical ability. Using dreamy, classical melodies paired harmoniously with vocals mostly heard throughout the metal genre, this song best represents this indefinable talent's bold rise.

Through it's memorable composition, 'Mimesis' (Ancient Greek: mimic, imitate) achieves an indescribable affect on both the listener's ears and reason which can only be attributed to the tracks fascinating sound.
Literal mimicry is not what this track is about, as it is one of a kind.

O*RS presents the first Solo Ep from Thomas Scholz,and includes distinctive original songs and fantastic remixes.

The remixes of these tracks by Filburt, rampue and Powel promise to be an acoustic cornucopia, also. And as though that wasn't enough, Thomas Scholz together with his good friend and musician from Leipzig iami give us musical caresses with 'Cafuné'. Appearing as a bonus track on the EP, it is a compelling conclusion to his first album.

The new 10 inch SuperSingle 160 by O*RS takes us back on a journey through time without suffering a loss of modern or contemporary sound. With "BodyTalk" the Berlin based female producer PEREL creates a future house classic featuring no less than Abba Lang. Lang, who lives in Berlin but originally comes from Uganda, not only ads his voice to the original track but creates a delicate Hip Hop rhythm while reciting - and harmonizes perfectly with PERELs vocals and the sound of the track. "This Love", the second track featured on the limited SuperSingle is a House tune which has it all: love for detail, funky grooves and extravaganza. O*RS 10inch 160 - one record, five tracks and a perfect fusion of House and Hip Hop.
The black gold will also be available in digital form. Besides the two original tracks O*RS offers two fantastic remixes as well as a dub version of "Body Talk" as a digital bonus. The "Dubson Booty Remix" teases out the sound of the 90s and pushes "Body Talk" skillfully into 2014. Nico Bulla's interpretation is fresh and different. The lowered baseline add another dimension to the original track and so creates a unique character of sound. How could it be different, the dub version perfectly enraptures the sound of the original. It emphasizes all the Hip Hop elements in a typical dub manner and produces a first class symbiosis of House and Hip Hop. After a long night the sun finally rises as our high leader and big boss Filburt finally blesses O*RS with his very first full Artist EP. The emotive three-tracker ‚Unnoticed Love‘ comes along with two originals accompanied by a remix by none other than Charles Webster. 
As the title track’s relentless groove goes on and on pianos emerge and the track reaches full effect when the vocoder-heavy vocals hit, taking you to a higher place of emotional consciousness. Trust us, you wanna go there. 
‚It’s All About You‘ with it’s combination of harmonic bleeps, big pads, steel drums and an unique arrangement sounds like that sunrise we mentioned earlier. It is advised by authorities to sit back, relax and take a long bath in it. 
And then there is this Charles Webster Remix which moves through a foggy territory where the best kind of deephouse grows. While there Charles plants some tribal seeds before going even deeper with a bassline richer than the sauce your granny made for christmas dinner

Oh my god they did it! Good Guy Mikesh and Filburt once again joined forces to bring you a listening experience we humbly call „The Past, The Present, The Future EP“.   
In case these names don’t ring a bell, use a so called search engine and check their body of work. Someone told me that there is absolutely no other doing what they be doing. Anyway, back to the EP. Mikesh and Filburt did some cleaning up on their hidden hard drive. They found some unfinished gems which they polished until it became what you are about to hear. Next to the remastered classics ‚Gold Snake‘ and ‚Come on‘ we offer you three brand new originals. And let us tell you that these tunes go down smooth like milk and honey. The combination of Filburt’s dancefloor experience and Mikesh’s pop-appeal is undeniable.
