O*RS are proud to release „HERON“, the first album by newcomer duo Heron from Leipzig. On their debut LP Heron tap into Synthwave with hints of Pop. The introspective lyrics elevate the 80s-like soundscape to an immersive listening experience. Producer Tino Kulisch and singer/writer Birthe Kleemann have been working on this project for quite a while now. Both of them are multitalented musicians who were involved in several band projects before forming Heron. We are very happy they came together and gave us their album „HERON“.

O*RS are delighted to share „This Is My Beginning“, the first single by newcomer duo Heron from Leipzig. Their debut album „one“ is set to be released beginning of next year. 
Consisting of producer Tino Kulisch and singer/writer Birthe Kleemann, Heron have been quietly recording their album for the past 1,5 years. Both of them have been playing together in several bands for a long time but with Heron they exclusively join forces as a duo. Heron’s sound resembles 80s Synthwave and sits between dance floor euphoria and introspective listening. 
„This Is My Beginning“ feels like leaving a neon-illuminated city behind at night as you take the highway to an uncertain future. The lyrics deal with the unstoppable movement of water - how it slowly ascends until it finally breaches the shore. Heron’s debut single is about something inside you bottling up until you decide that is time for a departure and a new beginning. 
„This Is My Beginning will be released on all digital platforms on November 4th.

HERON will release their third single on January 20th, 2023. "Together We Feel" describes the feeling of weightless dancing, blind trust in the disco lights and the interplay of two souls that stand on their own. Driven as usual by the rhythm of the eighties and accompanied by soulful sound elements, the song itself invites you to close your eyes and dance.
