This recording is a live DJ set and soundcheck from NYE Jan 2024. Thanks to the crew at Sonic Jungle & @Junxionnyc for all of the production and amazing work that went into this epic night at 1896 Studios. Can’t tell you how much I loved sharing the decks with you @MelissaXYZ as well as all of the talented artists to follow. Hope you feel the love as much as we did playing it for the beautiful party people and cast of strange and wonderful characters in the room that night. Brooklyn showed up strong, and here we give you the start to the epic journey right before the giant led bal dropped and the confetti flew. I want to introduce you to this new line of minimal techno with this new episode "Lost Memory". With all due respect to this great German producer and DJ, for whom I have a lot of respect and admiration, I only wanted to use his image in this new style of the styles series, because I think he is the producer and DJ who identifies most. I want to highlight his track "Lost Memory", of course "Devil" (great great track with that catchy rhythm that catches you) "Prisma", "Redemption", and some more in this episode, always with that clean and powerful sound that makes it unmistakable. I also want to highlight "Distress" by Andrea Signore, "Monogamy" by Sascha Braemer and many more. I hope you like this first episode of this new series.
