La Poré is the music moniker of Los Angeles based songwriter, producer, and actor Nick Samson.

After the release of his June 2017 debut, “Close,” the artist quickly followed up that September with the track “Sad Girl," garnering attention from global fashion and music label Maison Kistuné. In March 2018, the follow up, “Missing It,” was included in Kitsuné Musique's collaboration album with the NBA, Kitsuné America 5: The NBA Edition. In April 2019, “Missing It” was used in the official soundtrack for the Netflix film "The Perfect Date."

After years of consistent single releases, La Poré dropped his debut self-titled EP on July 22, 2022. Leading the way were the singles "Headphones," "Everyday's My Friday," and "Honey." These songs were all written during Covid lockdown in Samson's studio apartment in North Hollywood.

2023 was a huge year for La Poré continuing old and cultivating new collaborations with other artists. The first single, "Two Way Street" was written with fellow Ohians and indie-pop standouts Clubhouse. The follow up singles "Never Come Down," "Come and Gone" and "Wasted Love." were written and produced with Henry Blaeser and Jaye Locke, respectively.
