The early 2000s were a wonderfully creative time with lots of cross pollination between different musical styles, many genres we know so well today were formulating their DNA, unaware for what was to come. One such genre Grime was evolving it’s sound and this 2 hour mix revisits those early foundation days and the beats that were being made. Music from Youngstarr, Plastician, Black Ops, Hindzy D, DJ Charmzy, Slimzos, Geeneus and more, as well as some lesser known white labels.

This week’s mix unveils key mastermind behind Decay Audio - please welcome emerging deejay and producer, Jungist. She cofounded this project based out of Eora to build and represent a community for deconstructed club and leftfield dance genres not often seen on the surface. This mix reflects her unique perspective on sound and Decay’s ethos, drawing listeners through layers of ambient experimentalism, glitch, disjointed breaks and dark drum and bass. True harmony through Chaos. 
Caution: If we sent this mix into outer space on humanities next golden record, extra-terrestrials would already be on our doorstep.

Founder of the Underground Feelings collective, an association active in the nightlife of Strasbourg through which he invites during prestigious evenings big names like Slow Life, Tommy Vicari Jnr, Le Loup, Alien recordings (A² / Stopouts) Reedale Rise, J. Albert, Henrik Begqvist, Hinode, Najem Sworb, Yoshi. Trax Magazine did document these evenings at the rather original concept where during his performance, only the shadow of the artist was visible behind a curtain... He’s now organizing events in Brussels with his collective Tape Return.
