'Polyptych welcome Brazil-based DJ and Producer Rass with his debut release "Orientalism". Already a well-known member of the line-ups of many clubs and festivals in the South American continent, such as Universo Paralello, Swamp, My House, Festival Alternativo do Krant and others, Rass enters the game as a producer, choosing his path as groovy progressive sound with melodic techno elements and oriental motifs. This is what he presents in his EP of three original tracks. The release also includes a remix by Antonio Farhy, who already joined the Polyptych family in May 2023 and is also known for releases on labels such as Warbeats Records, Fluxo, aboriginal, and more.

It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. After the awesome RIGOONI remix of 'Sounds Of Sunday Morning' we are now proud to present fresh remixes by Forniva, Eleven Sins & Sonic Union, and Jelle van Leeuwen.

The Bosnian / English collaborative trio Forniva, Eleven Sins & Sonic Union take on remix duties for 'I'll Kill You', one of the most sought after songs of the album, not in the last place because of Jennifer Horne's iconic vocal. This new deep and stripped down remix sheds a totally different light on the song, very refreshing!

On the flip side we welcome back one of the great discoveries of this year on our label; Jelle van Leeuwen. His 'See The Glow' EP received a lot of praise when it saw the light of day earlier this year, and laid the perfect foundation for us to ask him to also remix one of the songs from Namatjira's album.
