Brilliant. They sound like little flying synthesizers!

I discovered the Dead can Dance in 1995 (and i thanks to my dearest friends:  the brothers Pino and Filippo Sabatelli for that)
One of the songs that immediately struck me was this ...
With its sense of austerity that gave to me and the magnificent voice of Brendan Perry
An iconic group. 
Of those you will always listen to.
I don't feel it's a real cover
But, certainly my personal tribute to this group.
From the second part of the original piece (performed on flute and uillean pipes)
I extracted and modified the harmony by inserting it in the tail of this piece
combining several recent musical ideas.
It is certainly a project to be further investigated and elaborated, also because
there is a synth to tame with some parameter adjustments.
but still a good first version.

Severance

This is the first movement of four in From the Bottom of a Well (Från botten av en brunn) based on Haruki Murakami's novel Kafka on the Shore. The the sounds were designed from, and the music was written from a grounded theory analysis of the book. The piece was performed on the 16th of December 2021 by Robert Ek, clarinet; Kevin Kirs Verstege, cello; and Rikard Vilhelm Lindell, eurorack at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. Marble Sand Tapestry

This track contains buzzing flies.

In the mountains in Los Angeles County, I came across a congregation of hoverflies "singing" in a cement drainage below the dirt fire road. The hoverflies would land on the cement or nearby rocks and vibrate their wings to produce the primary sound heard in the recording. This track is a shorter sample of a 15 minute recording session and is edited with a low cut and brief fade in/out. The low electrical buzzing you hear is from power lines above the road. You can also hear a bird who came to investigate.
