Kendale Da'Shawn Labon (born October 22, 1981) performance name OB-1. African American Rapper, MC, songwriter, and lyricist. Born in Bellflower, Ca. Raised and sculpted in Walnut, Ca. Labon began writing and reciting rhymes his Junior year in high school. His passion for the literary arts increased directly after receiving his diploma. Leading him to school hall cyphers and battles on college campuses, making a local name for himself. He then took a Creative Writing course at a JC, where he met his engineer.  Began recording rhymes and fell in love with his very own creativity and vocal inflection. Eager to share his craft with avid Hip Hop heads and musicians alike. Specializing in imagery, wordplay, metaphors, double entendres, and punchlines. For certain sonic adventure in each tune.
