Bio: Hailing from Stockholm, music maker since the late 90’s — with the first official release on the legendary Skam Records of Manchester in 2001, strongly associated with Gescom\Autechre. Eventually, the current moniker Obergman emerged on genre-essential labels like Stilleben Records, Abstract Forms and Brokntoys; marking a direction towards a more purified sound. Subsequent releases for Börft Records and Furthur Electronix etc, offered various hybrids of acid, electro and proto-techno. Furthermore, a continuous string of releases for some of the most cherished labels within the associated genres has been released, and continues to do so with a steady pace.
