It took me a while to come up with something fresh for your ears, but here we go: Psyence Fiction, the latest recorded output from my Mixer. 

Two hours of mind altering Psytrance. Slightly twisted but fully loaded. Containing some of my favourite tracks of the past season, some gems from BMSS Records, a handful of unreleased blasters and of course some wtf surprises. 

Psyence Fiction reflects my night-time approach towards Psychedelic Trance, driven by energy, rolling basslines, intense soundscapes and occasional references to the past. This is my take on the slightly darker side of Trance. Psyence Fiction tells a coherent story and gives you a psychedelic experience that ends in a rather groovy positive mood. 

My thanx go out to all participating artists for their master pieces and to all the labels involved for releasing such amazing tracks! And you guys, enjoy this psy-transcendental flight and have a smooth landing...I hope you have a blast! :) x

KIKX has been exploring electronic music and dancefloors since 1994. He began djing Psytrance music in 2001 and started his own label Purple Hexagon Records in 2008, with the aim to promote the music and to collaborate with the artists he had been playing in his dj sets. The role of label manager has contributed to further expand his music knowledge, bringing his ear training to the next level and allowing him to gain a fresh and strong musical awareness. Kikx is mainly known for his psychedelic dj sets, in which he develops a groovy yet hypnotic twilight oriented journeys that keep the dancefloor up and dancing. However, over the years his music quest has expanded into diverse electronic music genres, bringing him to explore alternative stages at major worldwide festivals. From psychedelic techno to deep glitch, delightful downtempo and tribal beats, Kikx merges together alternative sounds in clean and well-constructed electronic journeys at a variety of BPMs, always accompanying his sets with his famous smile and enthusiastic dance moves. A digital nomad and a seasoned traveller, Purple Hexagon Label Manager Kikx has played at small and big festival across Asia, Australia, Europe and Central-America and is open for bookings worldwide.

Psycloid - A Ghost's Life [Oberon (GR) & Astro-D Remix]

Oberon is a project by Stathis T. from Corfu, Greece.
Started getting involved professionally with music in the 1980's, studied sound engineering and worked in several studios and live concerts.
Same time, he got into djing, playing new and dark wave music.
After a magic trip to Goa in 1991 he started playing psychedelic trance and in 1995 
he was organizing indoors and outdoors events under the name Uforica and Space Alchemy.
In 2007 he started producing his own sounds, mixing his Goa/old school influences 
with fresh psytrance elements and modern production. 
Since December 2009 he has been playing for Neurotrance records
and in February 2012 he established Space Alchemy Lab.
Same time was invited to participate Purple Hexagon records (www.purplehexagon.com)
while keep doing mastering and cover artwork for several artists too.
