MOTEL77 is the new duo revealed by the infamous French label La Dame Noir. Behind that name, Thoma Cher & Charp, 2 DJs who have been key players in Shanghai underground scene for the last decade. They hold many years in residencies at several influential clubs in the city. While Charp has toured all over the main Asian clubs (Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, Hanoi), Thoma Cher released vinyl records on Nu Disco top labels and his first EP was charted in the best of 2017 of Juno Records. They came together last year to create MOTEL77, a Dark Disco act "for those who like to keep their leather jacket on the dance floor" (Trax Magazine 2018). Dark, deep, physical, but focused on groove. "A standout package of machine-made disco with a space edge”.

Gnom is a hidden DJ/selector from Paris. His musical taste bloomed with the new wave scene back in the eighties. Seven years ago he moved from visual art to music and started recording his own mixes. Now his range goes from French Synthwave (with the “Parlez vous Français“ series) to the actual downtempo electro scene (from Nein to Emerald & Doreen Rec, for instance) to more analog wave sounds (with labels like Carisma, Waste, UPR, and many others). In 2018 he released a mix for Something Spaecial which brought a much wider audience to his experiments. Just recently, he had acclaimed participation on Camping Electronique 8TH Edition. For SXDNS he recorded a large selection of very different styles, his favourite exercise.

In 2018 he released the EP ‘Love and Other Drugs’, which scored over 15 000 plays on Soundcloud. In this year he is preparing two releases on Detriti Records and Rotten City Records. Without a doubt, Morze is the most popular and most touring Russian DJ, who represents ‘dark’, but not ‘so hard’ side of electronic music. A DJ, producer and cosmic event planner, she whips up unapologetic musical cocktails geared to make you move – listen for yourself: Her latest EP ‘Imperfection’ on the Hamburg-based label tächno is quite intense.

With sonic influences taking off from her native Germany and evolving to the tune of her travels, Tony y Not fuses together a truly unique blend of tones. Her style dynamically embraces European dance music and multi-genre grooves inspired by her years in Brooklyn. Her passion for connecting with dance floors and love of intimate immersive spaces led to her co-founding of Front Left and involvement with BAE collective. Sprinkling NYC nightlife with effervescent evenings and providing a platform for female-identifying artists to craft spaces for all, it didn’t take long for Tony y Not to make a name for herself.
