So vielseitig wie seine Einflüsse ist auch die Musik des Bielefelder Singer-Songwriters und Multiinstrumentalisten Markus “Marks.“ Richter. Zu seinen größten Einflüssen gehören Größen wie Soundgarden, Queens Of The Stone Age, Radiohead oder die Deutsch-Rocker Selig. Ob Ben Howard, Mumford And Sons oder Mark Lanegan - alles ist dabei. Das Interesse an den unterschiedlichsten Genres spiegelt sich auch in seiner Musik wieder: Akustische Klänge mit der gewissen Prise Melancholie („Shiver“) bis hin zu Blues-Rockern („Horizon“) oder Uptempo-Soul-Nummern („Beggin“) gehören zum Repertoire des Songwriters. Auf dem 2015 erschienenen und selbstproduzierten Album “Mellow Sunlight In Deep Seas“ bündelt Marks. diese unterschiedlichen Stile mit persönlichen wie politischen Texten zu einem abwechslungsreichen und unverwechselbaren Musikmix.
