ABOUT 5 YEARS OF FRONTIER:

On March 16th, 2018, Goxenar's "Voices" was put out as the first release on FRONTIER by AC (just "Frontier" at the time).

Now, 5 years later, we boast a roster of 51 artists and a catalogue of 5 acclaimed compilation albums.

Most importantly, though, we boast one of the most welcoming and passionate communities out there, and none of this would be at all possible without it. From the team members who have been here for all 5 years to those who joined us just last year, we at FRONTIER cannot thank you all enough for your continued support. It warms our hearts enormously that after countless years, there's still such a genuine excitement around FRONTIER news and releases.

As a way to reminisce about all of the great releases our catalogue has to offer, and as a thank you to our wonderful community, we've voted on our favorite tracks from all throughout the years and put together a "best of" compilation alongside a handful of exciting roster remixes of classic FRONTIER tunes.

We hope this brings some of you as much nostalgia as it bring us. Enjoy.

There's quite a backstory behind this track. The main idea started when I completed the ICO. I was so immersed in the ICO's world that all the silence in the game felt like a melody to me. At that time Wepsar teased his track "Hold on," which is only on his YouTube, and that clicked to me instantly. I'll put the YouTube link down below. 

This track is not the original. Since then I was trying to make something that made me feel close to that silence, and honestly, I feel like I'm doing pretty well for myself as I started the project foryears. to make tracks that I wanted to listen to, the sounds, the ambiance that never existed anywhere but in my mind and soul. 

This track is the 4th resampled version of the first track named "a sense of reality—middlepath," which I think isn't going to get a release anytime soon. Also, I took the name from Wepsar's midi file.
